Thank you so much brother. I've the same case and I didn't know that we could actually remove the front case and mesh. It really helped me a lot for cleaning the dust. You earned a sub👍
Glad I could help
This case is really nicely laid out and clean cable runs can be easily achieved. Haven’t built a computer in over 10 years and things have come a long way. I wasn’t too keen on getting tempered glass RGB anything, but cost/ performance balance kept narrowing my selections down to this style as it’s the most common available.
Niceeeee!! I just have a 240 cooler on mine. You're right about the front with the little air intake so I just leave front cover off and have the front filter in.
I got this case in a MSI prebuilt Aegis ZS ... the 120AIO busted after 8 mo. of very light use - CPU hitting 100c - so sent in to MSI for RMA... I am happy to have found this, because I was thinking to not re install whatever they send me, and instead put a 360 up front, but never seen it done, with my case - so thank you for this vid!
Thank you so much for this video it helped me since this is the almost exact build of mine except the motherboard and gpu
I love the look of the white Gungnir. Thanks for the video.
Alright Dave, your video sold me on this. I will buy this case and have a look!
Thanks for showing me that the HDD caddy can be moved over. I was pretty miffed when the Corsair H110i 240mm radiator didn't fit on the top or the front before the caddy was moved.
Glad I could help
Were you able to get the 240mm radiator on the top? I am thinking of getting this case and mounting my current H100i on the top.
thank you for learning how to build msi i am make sure for you :)
No problem!
Oh, what a nice touch, pointing the camera elsewhere while removing the front panel, exactly what I want to check out.
I'll make sure to not point up next time! Mistakes were made.
Just pull. It will just un seat. I am sure by now tho, you've firgured it out?
Hi I am currently building a similar setup. I was wondering, do you need additional spacers in the case ATX screwing positions for the motherboard or are the integrated spacers sufficent?
The spacer are enough, I have the same case
Just bought this case, but I have the 240mm aio and 550m mortar. But thanks for the video brother.

thinking about buying the 240mm aio. Does it fit in your case in the top or the side?
@@newzer8382 he fit in the top
How do you take the bottom dust filter off
Hi there! You helped me a lot with vid! Thx!! I would like to know if you could tell me if and/or when we would need to connect both of the two PSU connectors on the x570 Unify motherboard?? And which power supply would be able to do that. Cheers!
Looks like you have one (daisy chain) cable plugged in to your gpu... You'll want to use two separate cables so you don't grin into power issues or start a fire if you have a higher power gpu.
Thanks
love how there case fans that came with the tower was all set to exhaust.
Hmm are they? :D
@@Realhardwarereviews watch 1st part of the vod, you'll see the face of the fans are on the inside.. meaning they was in exhaust lol and so was the back case fan, but once you put the rad in you fixed that.. alot of company's are doing this now days. friend of my got a new pre built.. has 2 fans on the MB side.. there exhaust.. the rear fan si exhaust .. i was like dude.. swap them or add 2 intakes to the top lol
@@Realhardwarereviews go to 5.01 in the vod.. you can see them
Did I only get 3 pin fan strips and the adapter is 4 pin?
I really am afraid of this cables. I managed to connect these two but it doesnt seem to me to be the right way so i didnt turn the pc on.
I am mid process of an install with this case. The pwr for the 3 front fans works with the daisy chain. What did you do with the rear fan pwr, just plug into a header on the mb? I don't see how it is linked with the front 3 (if that is even a thing). Next (and related), I have a CM 212 rbg cooler. The pwr connects to the cpu fan. But where do you put the rgb cable? Does it somehow connect to the rgb controller of the case? There is an extra pin on it, I think. I have an argb on the mobo (Asus Tuf gaming pro 570x wifi 6), which I assume the case argb controller goes into. If I plug in the cm212 rgb into the mobo regular rgb, it won't be controlled with the case fans, right?
I’d really like to know what the temps were like with having your aio mounted at the front of the case and not the top I want to mount mine to the front but was a bit worried about air flow
Wish I keept a record of the temps but I seem to have lost them. Sadly, I no longer have the case :(
Good video. Can you comment on whether you could/should have chosen to flip the radiator so that the lines run down to the bottom of the case. Would something prevent that orientation?
There wouldn't be enough space for that sadly.
adding, that the vented version of the front grill is a must... air flow is nearly non existent with the glass - I swapped mine immediately
My question is if u have a gpu 320mm while this case has 340mm space for gpu, does it still fit if u put this liquid cooler radiator in front?
I'm wondering if you could take the glass panel out and have some holes cut in it. Maybe just some nicely placed vent slots. I don't know how to do this or how much it would cost to have done but I intend to look into it.
Hi David, thank you very much for making this video, I'm not sure if you mentioned how to or where to plug the USB type C connector, mine has a "MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI Motherboard"
I am planning to buy msi 360r with this case, can the tubes reach the cpu when you rotate it and have tubes reaching from bottom?
Is there enough space for a 240R in the top of the case instead of the 360R in the front? This was my idea for the build..
I would also go with the 100M, the Mesh-Version of the case.
Great choice with the Mesh-Version. A 240R should fit nicely on top.
Did you connect the usb type-C to the motherboard header pin???
love my case :)
I love mine too :)
How did you get your rgb lights to work ? I got everything but that little header you have. I got the rgb 1 to 3 splitter and also got a cpu fan 1 to 3 splitter too. I have a msi b550m pro mother board with a rainbowrgb 3 pin port and a jrgb 12v 4pin port and none the fans led lights turns on.
It says can only support up top 240mm radiator on top, but it also has the holes for a 280mm as well, would check if can be supported?
I have this case with the stock fans. Is there anyway to control the rear exhaust fan as its always running full blast and it doesnt appear in the bios or anywhere ?
How did you get the caddy over there? The wires coming out of power supply are preventing the caddy from moving far enough...
Did you use the build-in fans with the AIO or did you unmount the build-in fans and and mounted the AIO's fans?
I used the AIO fans that came with the cooler.
can you show me how you wire set up im having a hard time with the wire
I'm not the best at explaining, but here's a video from JayzTwoCents that really helped me out!
ua-cam.com/video/c3dggnkaEs8/v-deo.html
Wonder if 280mm radiator fits on top from Arctic. MSI states on their site max 240mm radiator or 280mm fans. But it looks like it would fit
Hi..do you know if i could install a Triton 240 cooling system of Antryx in the top of this case?. Y have a msi b460 mortar mainboard. I was reading that is impossible because collides with the ram. Thanks.
Hey man how did u plug your argb fans? I am using the same case and I cant control the rgb lighting.. only the pump, gpu, ram are in-sync. I would appreciate a reply. Thanks
Hey Jae, sorry for the late reply. You should be able to control it once you plug it in the fan controller header in the back of the case. Keep me posted.
Hi, thank you for the video. Do I need to swap the pre-installed front fans with the fans that came with my MSI 360 radiator? They look to be nearly the same fans.
I did mainly because the AIO fans usually are a bit more beefier. I think they can spin at a faster rate but don't quote me on it haha.
@@Realhardwarereviews Got it. Thank you
@@brianveltri then you have one spare and two fans up top for exaghst
@Brian Veltri hey, did you manage to fit your 360 in the front in the end? Tysm
Hi. This case have 4 fans, and 1 fan spliter of 3 slots. This means that my motherboard shoud have 2 fan conectors? Or am i missing something? It my first case of this type.
Hi! another question. I am really having a hard time getting the little button for switching the RGB Fans to work! I am going crazy with this one. What I did is, I installed the fans of the AIO on the Radiator, and the Fans that were in the MSI Gungnir 110M in the Top and rear of the case. I can control the Cooler Fans with the MSI Software, but I do NOT know how to connect the Chasis Fans of the MSI Gungnir 110M so that the button on the case would switch the colors. Can you give me guidance how to do it, so that the button finally wokrs? How did you do it?
Thank you in advance!
I'm going to assume you didn't plug the rainbow1 connector to the board or sata power to the front of the case
I just mounted the computer with this box but I can't get the LED button to work. Any suggestions?? Thank you
Hello! I am building with similar hardware like the gungnir 110r, MSI AIO, and MSI MOBO. I don't really understand the wiring with the RGB, Pumps, Etc.)
How do you connect the cooler in frontal panel, i can connect the aio fans with the radiator(sorry my bad english)
You should be able to connect it to the fan controller at the back of the case.
Where did you connect the led switch lead to on the MB?
Hey. So I have this case. And bought the arctic freezer ii 360. Not sure if it will fit can you give some insight?
Thanks thumbs up. Will the dual-120 water cooler fit at the top?
nope, 8 holes in all - so you can got 2 sizes, but only 2 fans
wait how did you set up the rgb cause i can only have 2 fans light up and i have the same case and motherboard
Great video 👍👍 can you turn off RGB lights ?
Can you tell me how to take off the front panel for this case? I've had it for months and have no clue how to take it off as this was a bought build. If you could give some advice on how to also clean the back filter too that would be great. Thanks!
just pull, hold top and pull on bottom edge... it will unseat.
did you case came with all the screws? My mobo needs 9 but the case came only with 6...
The radiator blows hot air into the case :D
In was wondering the same, I have the same case with the same cooler but 240mm on top and the fans are blowing air up top, not like this.
Hi. Is it possible to install core mag liquid 280r on the front ?
Am i able to change the RGB colours of the fans in other pc cases ?
You can. Shouldnt be a problem.
will this fit an ROG thor 850w Platinum with the hdd cage on?
Does the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (WiFi 6) motherboard also fit inside this case?
Only problem with the case is the intake at the front but that can be resolved by just taking off the front plastic bit, and leave the dust panel in
I actually bought the other grill design in where in place of the glass, it's a steel mesh screen.... changed temps on stock config by significant amount.
WTF I was thinking of getting the same build haha.
Dude a question, will there be much difference in temperatures if I put a msi coreliquid 240mm AIO? I was thinking of putting the 360mm but I like the way the 240mm looks on the top of the cabinet better.... What do you recommend me to do..? nice video :)
Thank you Matiaz! If your planning to overclock your CPU then get the 360 AIO. If not the 240 is plenty. Plus with the 240 you wont be constrained with your GPU since mounting it on the front of the case robs you of some space for your GPU to be mounted.
@@Realhardwarereviews Ok thank you very much, I was thinking of putting a RTX 3090 on it which are very big and I was hesitating with the AIO and the cabinet. Really, thank you very much for the help!
@@matiasbarrios3247 i was planning to buy the 240 aswell does it fit properly at the top of the case?
Whats the hybrid button on the back?
not sure if you want to have liquid cooling pipes at the top of your radiator? where air in the system can limit how effective they works and the noise?
I would move fans from behind dust filter to infront of case, and have the radiator flipped with pipes at bottom
How important is that AIO cooler? The thing is, i'm planning on building my first PC that consists of the same graphics card (MSI GeForce RTX 2070), CPU (Ryzen 5 3600), and motherboard (b550 Tomahawk), and wondering if these components really require an AIO cooler. Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you. I've also taken on your recommendation of grabbing the same case but with the mesh in front. Thanks.
You really don't need an AIO unless your looking into overclocking the CPU. Even then its not worth the hassle. A regular air cooler would still work. It all depends on what you think is the best for aesthetics as well.
With a ryzen 5 you can use the cooler it comes with
@@bfredd3333 No, the stock cooler doesn't worth it. I've changed it in two months because temperatures were so high.
I have the same case and stock cooler of Ryzen 5 5600x is not enough. Im actually getting the same cooler as in the video tomorrow. :)
With corsair vengeance pro rgb, does is fit a radiator on the top?
Can you control the built in fans with a program ? And not the button
Yes
Good job! I was wondering how to take the front panel off the entire time I had the case. Glad my question was answered and I managed to clean the front panel dust filter before it clogged up. On a side note that might not be relevant to others, an Intel Core i9-10940X cooled by an MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R in the Gungnir 110R maxes out at 80 degrees Celsius when clocked to 4.1 GHz on all cores while running Cinebench R23. I tried it myself, and as I first-time overclocker, I was scared that something would blow, but everything was alright. :)
I’m glad that I could help with the video. Front panels can be a bit tricky to pull off.
Can cpu air cooler ( Noctua NH-D15 Chromax.Black) will fit in that case?
Did the case come with the front three fans installed as exhausts??
They are intake, hot air to the inside. I though he was going to flip them around.
I'm looking at building my first PC and looking at putting an RTX 3070 and Ryzen 7 5800X in it (once they're in stock again, won't pay scalper prices) with a top mounted 240mm aio for the CPU, how bad (or maybe good) would this case be? I prefer the tempered glass look at the front over the mesh, but I know the thermals are going to be more important. And if not this case, is there a case you would recommend for a first time PC builder? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, first time finding your channel and I enjoyed the video
The case is great but I would watch out on the size of your graphics card. I found that fitting a 360 AIO plus a larger graphics card that I had wouldn’t fit in. In your case you should be good putting the AIO on top.
@@Realhardwarereviews Thank you for the help! Since it's my first build, I really want to get it right and you helped put my mind at ease a little bit in terms of the combo I'm going for.
@@STOEmma im buying my 1st pc soon, and im also using an RTX 3070, Ryzen 7 5600x, as well as a top mounted 240 aio cooler, how did your build come out for you? any issues? how was cooling with the glass front?
@@StardustCrusad3r The only issue I had was that the pump in the aio I chose failed. I've got a temporary air cooler while I find a more reliable aio, and I have no thermal issues. I did change the parts, due to availability at the time, I've got a RX 6700 XT and a Ryzen 9 5900x
@@STOEmma how long did the pump live before failure? which brand/model did you have?
sata hd install?
If I install an AIO on top would that be better for cooling the pc, along with all of the fans included?
I just watched a video on that - and it seems for GPU fan/rad placement don't matter (if open air GPU) but in the experiment, it showed marked difference in CPU temps (10c cooler with front mount rad) which make since pulling in ambient air and opposed to eating already hot air when up top.
I'm kind of stuck with the RGB controller at the back... I've got the SATA & the front panel button plugged in at the correct spots as well as the 4 fans into 4 of the 6 headers. But I can't figure out where to plug the cable coming from the aRGB header of my MB ? Would really appreciate an answer! Thank you in advance :)
Did you manage to figure it out?
Same issue. Pls help
Can I ask why you did the aio on the side?
Hi,
I'm currently stuck trying mount the cooler portion of my MSI Coreliquid 240R to my cpu in the MSI Gungnir 110R case. (I'm aware the installation process is identical). When I attempt to screw the cooler on top of the cpu, it doesn't even close to making contact there is large gap (the cooler just kind of floats above the cpu) (its like the bracketts wont clip on properly) to the AM4 retention system.
This is my first time trying to install an aio, any help would be much appreciated thanks.
Did you manage to get it on? Usually there there is a spring loaded retention screw that needs to clip on.
@@Realhardwarereviews Sadly no and I've tried all solutions rewatching your video, another youtubers video (Gear Seekers), and MSI's video.
I either have a defective unit between the aio or my motherboard... the clips don't/won't even clip somewhat clip to the retention without being screwed, the springs are super stiff (not even remotely "springy") even with slight pressure. I think I might just return the aio to microcenter and try to get store credit to purchase an air cooler... This has been a lost cause since Friday and I've tried for three days straight with no success... 🤦🏾♂️ just want to complete my rig I have the wraith cooler but it blocks some of my dim slots.
I appreciate you reaching out to me thank you.
@@Realhardwarereviews I managed to get it working with some help. I do have a question I manage to get the radiator fan's rgb working but not the pre-installed case fans... If possible can you explain how/where to plug in the wire's on MSI B550 Tomahawk motherboard to the case fans rgb?
There are 4 fans 3 front 1 back. Where the back fan can go?
is their any space in upper to have 240mm cpu cooler
I have a 240 mm cpu cooler and I am not sure will it fit to the top? (Sorry for bad english) the store which I buy this case says cpu cooler part is 170 mm
It should fit on top of the case. There was plenty of space and pre-drilled screw holes for it.
You put that together almost opposite from the way I would do 😊🤭
I have a problem my motherboard only has 3 fan headers is there another optional header I can use?
You can use provided fan hub that comes included with the case.
Will this case support vertical gpu mount?
Thanks for the video, a 290 mm GPU would fit perfectly then? Got and x570 mobo, 240mm fan and planning on getting 3060ti aorus master which is 290mm as I read in the comments the msi gaming trio won't fit :(
Yeah I have this excact case with a msi rtx3060ti triple fan it fits perfectly, you just can't have the front AIO in then, I use a top one
Could I install a video card Aorus rtx 3080ti in this case? Asking because I’ve noticed this card being larger than the other ones.
I had difficulties with a 2070 to fit in so make sure to measure it.

Do you think I could fit a 3090 and a 360mm AIO
Dang does the MSI rtx 3090 ti suprim graphics card fit in this case with a radiator in the front of the case? It seems tight
That card is hefty. It wouldnt fit in this case.
Are you blowing water cooler air into the case?
hnm....the 3 fans in front are on backwards there...they are set as exhaust instead of intake....seems like its set up as negetive pressure instead of intake from the front and out the back
I’m using the asus rog strix b450 f ii and i can’t seem to get the RGB to work on the fans what do I do?
I don't think the fans are aurora compatible. Make sure to use the software that MSI has to control the RGB.

I am building a amd ryzen 5 3600x with a gtx 1660 super is this a good case option

@@whoisjoe8555 Get a 1tb nvme drive if you can afford it, and a regular HDD for mass storage.
Hi, how did you connect the rgb of the fans?
There is a rgb controller on the back of the case. You just attach it there.
Are you sure the front fans are starved or just assuming so. Without calculating the fan cfm and the slots/vents allowable of cfm etc, how can you state the fans will be starved of air?
Simple physics. Having more vent holes will increase airflow.
Sorry But my english isn‘t Good.
Is it possible to get an msi 3080 suprim with 33 cm in when a radiator is installed in the front?
I couldn't fit a 3060 TI with a AIO in front. So I wouldn't try it.

Yes, hopefully you already built your pc by now :)
@@Realhardwarereviews I actually got a Ryzen 5 5600 not the X because it’s basically same performance when overclocked a bit (and i saved like 50€ by going for the non-X). You suggested that air is restricted by the front panel. Curious if you could confirm it. Run tests as is, then without the front panel on. Then we would know.
Wish I still had the case. Sadly it was a loaner. I would have confirmed it with you otherwise.
I have unscrewed the metal side and the temps dropped by 3 degrees and the fans stopped struggling. (5900x + x62 Kraken), Would be better if they did a mesh side for it as a replacement.
@@bobthecooldadInteresting. my 5600x and rtx 2070 super hasn't caused the temps to get into the 70s (60s only). I haven't done stress testing beyond OC of memory and cpu. As long as the fans aren't audible, which they aren't, I don't really care.
Is that case a got choice for a ryzen 7 3700x and rtx 3060ti? Both not overclocked.
Depending on the model of 3060ti you choose it might not fit the case if you add an AIO in front of the case.
If you put an AiO into it, just get a 240mm and mount it on top. 3060ti should be fine then. 3080/3090 probably wouldnt fit though
