Wow
My wife & I loved riding the back roads also in pigeon forge& Gatlinburg !
Roaring Fork drive in Gatlinburg is free and fun. You see bears, falls, History. We really enjoy it.
Indeed Roaring Fork is a great drive with lots to see! Thanks for stopping by and your input!
Take the trolley ride to the crafts man road .$3.00 a roundabout music, old times ice cream shop, craft stores watch them work.
Great suggestions, thanks Rhonda!
Roaring Fork motor trail is free. Bush Beans museum is free Caves Cove is free
👍
My son told me about a salt and pepper museum that doesn't costs much at all and they have salt and pepper
shakers from A to Z designs that you have never seen before.
That's a good list. I've been coming to the area for years. There have been times when money was really tight but always managed to have plenty to do for the family.
Totally enjoyed the videos, we've been 9 times in the past 4 years and I learned a few new places to go. I would definitely add maybe the drive through Newfound Gap Road, and while on that road you can go to Clingmans Dome (which is free) and/or through to Cherokee, NC and possibly see some Elk.
Thanks...Great suggestions Champ!
Heading that way in a week and a half. Looking forward to spending some time in the mountains! 😃👍
Another great video, full of the best information 🥰♥️
Live about 4 hours away..on our bucket list. Thank y’all.

Our pleasure Darrell! Tight lines! 🎣
My favorite video is the Titanic. Congratulations on your 60k.
I would love to see a video from you on your top 10 restaurants in pigeon Forge and your top 10 restaurants in Gatlinburg. I look forward to seeing your videos every day with your family. You have given me a lot of information for my upcoming trip next year.
New subscriber. Thank you so much for these videos. Will be driving from Florida to Gatlinburg in July to do the smoky mountains and Dollywood. I’ve been looking for some easy trails for my wife and 5 and 2yr old.
Went there in July! Might as well go to Myrtle Beach, that crowded and commercialized! It a joke, yuppies everywhere, traffic horrible! Go 100 yards and stop for yuppies to cross to the next attaction!
The rodeo show was fun when I was there in 89.
Great suggestions.. this is one of my favorite areas to visit..
Glad to help ajudylee!
Awesome video!! Such good information!!
Thank you so much Dani! We hope to make a lot more similar videos in the near future!
Driving Roaring Fork Trail is a great excursion. We've driven it several times and love it.
What do you see on this drive?
@@drifthollow1525 There's a lot to see on this drive. First, you might see some black bears, but maybe not. This drive goes up into the mountains on the top end of Gatlinburg. There are several places to stop and walk around and see things. First is the Bud Ogle cabin. The Ogles being one of the founding families of Gatlinburg, you see Bud's place and walk the trail out back and see the creek with the water trough out there. As you drive further, you will go through areas where the trees are so massive in height. They create somewhat of a canopy up high. There are other homesteads to stop and walk around at, and places where you can get out and walk in the river on the rocks, and see a waterfall or two. Great picture taking on this drive. Near the end there used to be an old wooden building that had a general store in it. We bought a jar of pickled green beans, which are called "dilly beans". I'm not sure if it is still there and open or not. All in all, this is a gem of Gatlinburg, that most do not even know about. To enter this drive, go to the top end of Airport Rd and bare to the right. As the road splits stay right. The left split takes you up the hill to the Park Vista Hotel (the round hotel on the mountain), or whatever the name may be these days. Stay far right and enter the drive. It ends on the other side of Gatlinburg, can't exactly remember where. You won't regret making this drive.
Im from Peru Cusco thanks for Your video

I've seen the videos before on the stuff in downtown Gatlinburg, but I'd like to see those items listed specifically at all the things that are in downtown Gatlinburg, because there's a few attractions down there which are really quite neat, I like to see all those listed in greater detail.
So many cool places to checkout 😃 thanks 👍
Our pleasure!
Thanks that was helpful

Here's another activity that is free and fun if you like to disc golf. Mills Park in Gatliburg offers free disc golf, nice fun course!
It's on our summer to do list!
Helpful
Binup, glad this video helps! We hope it gives someone ideas of things to do while planning a trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee!
Don’t go to the caverns if you aren’t in good health! Very challenging for my wife. It’s not an easy walk.
Correct, some of the caves can be challenging for some.
Love Cades cove
We do too Wanda!
Cute
Ryan have you ever been to Clingmans Dome? It's about 45mins away from Pigeon Forge it's also Free can see 3 or 4 states from observation tower.
We have 👀👉 ua-cam.com/video/8NvTb_Sgfg4/v-deo.html
Thanks for sharing video We had went there today and loved it. Only complaint was from the wife walking the 0.5 mile lol
Ty
You're welcome! We hope it helps people get ideas or save money while in the Gatlinburg Area!
@@AdventureIsOutThere yes sir ree were gng bk in sept
This was helpful. Heading that way and will have 2 9-year olds. Wondered about gem mining places. Ever gone with your kids?
Margaretta spa How much is it?
Have Y'all seen SMOKY HOLLOW OUTDOOR RESORT in Sevierville TN
They invited us to come by, but haven’t made it there yet. I might try a night with Micah soon.
The Roaring Fork motor nature trail is free
Roaring Fork & Cades Cove are 2 great free options in the area mar towe!
How long do you think it took to go through the Caverns?
Forbidden Caverns tour is about 1 hour long. Tuckaleechee Caverns seemed to be about 1.5 hours. It can depend on who is giving the tour, but I would say those are fair estimates Maranda.
How much is the hillbilly golf in Gatlinburg tn
We go over more details in this video: ua-cam.com/video/pl-GbIPXEi4/v-deo.html
It's called the townsendy
🤷♂️
Where do you recommend to rent a cabin for Six adults close the Gatlenberg area for a week?
Dreammore next to Dollywood is great! We have also enjoyed staying at Wilderness of the Smokies!
Will a solo traveler get lost on a trail
Not if you stick on well known trails, you will be fine.
Where's a good place to stay in the area?
Carolyn, we are working on a video of top places to stay in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. If budget wasn't an issue I would say Dollywood DreamMore Resort or The Wilderness Lodge would be my 2 favorite with kids!
Me my family my sister and her two friends are coming to Gatlinburg this Thursday!!!!!!!! I would like to meet y’all!!!!!!!
How about skylift Park, or anakeesta??
Skylift & Anakeesta are great and we mention them in our TOP ten things to do video. We just didn't include them in the FREE or cheap video as with a large party tickets can add up for some people.
You talked about the cave over near Townsend but not about forbidden caverns.
This video was focused on Gatlinburg area. Both caves are great to visit!
@@AdventureIsOutThere Tuckaleehee caverns is in Townsend they are both 26 miles from Gatlinburg according to Google map
@@travingalloverthemap8375 sounds like a video you are welcome to make 👍
$17 for an adult sounds really expensive for a tram to me.
Inflation! 😩
Well it's $22 now so $17 seems cheap lol
Lol
The website said $29
How many people go to Gatlinburg, or even Pigeon Forge, and never go to the park, and then tell everyone they went to The Smokies?
The national park is our #1 recommended thing to do: ua-cam.com/video/0_Zxgu5kOjw/v-deo.html
Going next month as single mom with 4 teenagers.. help lol
Any specific questions?
I like the list except the last one lol I don't want to see wild animals sounds dangerous
The old time pictures are very expensive! (No $10.) There are a lot of free stuff better than these things.
That's probably why they said go on Groupon
No bears…….??????
That's part of the national park (roaring fork, cades cove, etc) 🐻👍
Tuckaleechee Caverns should be removed from your list. At $22 per adult, this is NOT cheap (as you would say; I would use "inexpensive," IF it qualified). Regardless, it does not qualify as inexpensive or affordable--so, please remove it.
Dollywood is $89, Anakeesta & SkyLift are $35+. This made the the list @ $22 as it is a great experience we have really enjoyed.
