    Fantastic interview. So glad someone has taken the time to make such a fantastic model railway of a real location and one I’ve visited from the 70s 👍🏻 I hope you can find lorry drivers too move such a fantastic layout that I’m sure hundreds if not thousands will enjoy 😉 I’m a lorry driver and wish I had the time to help move such a fabulous project. Looking forward to seeing the dates so I can make a visit 👍🏻 Cheers Stevie.

    You really have a fantastic layout, to get one this length and size plus in O gauge then take it on tour is a mammoth task and achievement - it's unique. You really haven't done it justice in this video, please show us the automation, capture the length do a full room shot, show us the undersides of the boards and the control screens - - show it off as a taster and captivate us. I suggest you do this as you talk (so you narrate) and it will be far more interesting. Also I hope you do something about all those gaps in the back scenes, they massively detract from all that other excellent and hard work. Hope this helps you and good luck with your trial assembly runs. All the best Stephen.

      Barron mind the model is set in mid 1980s - there wasn’t much in the U.K. then ( normally football related ), it’s worse now thanks to the influence of US graffiti

      Graffiti is a modern curse. Everyone seems to want to tag everyone else's property. There's a place for it I'll agree but it has to be in a designated space.

      do wish they add some automation-shot during that part of the story
      or include the 'banking' height difference somehow into the shots...
      each part could've used a focus fit in with the storytelling!

  • @kevinproctor5730

    I guess automation is the new world . If it works for you it works but for me manual with block bells , peggers and sections is always how a railway should be run .

    • @beeble2003
      @beeble2003 2 роки тому +1

      Operating it manually would be great fun but you have to remember that it is partly a business venture and having to employ several people to run the layout would completely kill it, financially. And, before everyone says, "I'd help operate it for free!" it's illegal to employ somebody for less than the minimum wage.
