John is great at presenting these pedals, I watched his presentation video on the Fender Marine Layer reverb pedal and shortly after I went and bought it, its a great addition to my stratocaster, it helps to make great rockabilly and surf rock sounds
THE FIX. There is a trim pot inside the pedal. It looks like a white almost-circle that a screwdriver will fit. Plug in the pedal and adjust to where the ticking is the worst (square setting all the way to the left or right for me). With the pedal OPEN and ON, turn the trim pot with your screwdriver until you find the position that gets rid of all the ticking. On mine, there's a tiny spot in the middle of the pot range where the noise disappears. It's very small, a hair's width either way would begin to introduce the noise again. So get it right, close up the pedal, and enjoy this beautiful tremolo the way it was meant to be played.
I agree. I've been a drummer for 36 years and I thought that drum track was really busy. It totally took away from the effect of the tremolo pedal which is what we are trying to hear
Love Fender, and this pedal sounds great. My only gripe is the annoying blinking light. I wish it would flash briefly after establishing tempo, then go off. Using tape to cover looks tacky… but, it’s a fix.
Even it's an older vid. I finally got me one. I'm collecting Reverbs, Trems and Delays. So this Trem is sounding great and you can dial in some nice amp like sounds. Lot's comments are praising the good looks...yes it looks good on the first sight, but it's a bummer on all those pedals the letters are almost unreadable. Those color combinations are bad. One of the worst is the Tre-Verb, you just can guess what's written on it. I think i'm going to repaint the one wich go on my board.
@@-_AjB_- Greetings... I can't really tell, the tre-verb isn't a bad pedal but it didn't make it long in my collection. We never became real friends. And as i wrote, it's a bit fidgety to operate for me. It's not a bad pedal and it's versatile, good reverbs etc. I still own the tube tremolo 😊 but it's sitting on the shelf. I mostly use the Supro, Jam Monk, Keeley Dynatrem and some vintage trems like the Schaller. Btw. One of the most expensive vintage trems is the Diaz Armadillo and there are rumors it was built to the Schaller schematic. I only own a modern take on the Diaz, the Pedal Pawn Chicken Quiff.
The same thing happened to mine and I contacted fender about it. They acknowledge the problem and they told me that was normal😅😂🤣😂😅 The noise was louder than the actual sound of the pedal.. So I returned it I seriously do not recommend this pedal to anyone it's junk!!!
how come the video was edited out when the effect was engaged? was it because of the noisy switching? I just ordered mine, but it might be going back before you can say tremor-low!
@@-_AjB_- unfortunately the switching did turn out to be as bad as some reviewers made it out to be, and square/triangle waves were even worse so. But, you have to push gains up for it to become a problem, which some people do as they play with high gain. I'm swapping mine out for sure, but not certain what for atm. Shame cos the tone is great. No wonder they got discontinued...they should give us all our money back.

Sounds great. Fender is really killing it with their stomp box line. Well made and they all have a unique twist.
Appreciate the love! 🤘🎸😎
This tremolo sounds better than most more expensive competitors in my opinion. And the brushed steel is just very pretty.

Awesome pedal , I like it . The outro sounded way cool 👌
I can't say I like that drum track 😂

I’ve got 3 fender pedals and I’m gonna get one or two more.

@@TheElrondo brilliant info
Such a great line of pedals!! Surprised there's no harmonic trem on this!
The answer to that is simple; harmonic trem requires three tubes. It would make this box way too big (and expensive) to be commercially viable
Btw, which mics did you use? They sound great
Awesome!!
Would love to kow the difference and similarity between this and the tre-verb.
Lovely color for a Tele. What is the color and model of the Telecaster?
surf green maybe..
Fender American Professional Telecaster in Mystic seafoam green
It sounds great but, at least mine, was too noisy when engaged. I had to return it

Tremelo is the only effect where I want dynamic sensitivity and it's the only new fender modulation that doesn't have it :( why fender, why?
what is "dynamic sensitivity" and what would it do on a tremolo?
