Vinyl is awesome! Love picking up records for stuff I like and stuff I've never listened too (especially when I can get it cheap). And It's funny you say that it was "games first, music second" for you, since I had a completely different approach. Music and gaming have always been huge for me, especially because the two are often very close to each other, with plenty of licensed music and original soundtracks getting stuck in my head. I'd love to play rhythm games, or listen to my mp3 player while playing minecraft for long periods. So yeag, music and gaming have always gone hand in hand for me. And funny enough, that stuck with me in my vinyl collecting, with my first record being the Deltarune chapter one OST. I've also collected other gaming/nerdy records, like the Va11-HallA box set, Memories of Tokyo-To (a Jet Set Radio inspired album by 2Mello), Cutiemarks and Fish Whisperer (Both MLP inspired albums by Vylet Pony), etc. Also I am mad jelly of your Worlds vinyl and Celeste vinyl! Though it's extremely sad Worlds is borked sound wise, since I try to listen to every vinyl I buy.
Ooooooooo I wasnt aware there were Deltarune or Va11-HallA vinyl! ill have to be on the lookout for those! And yeah I love records too, picking up physical stuff like this is so fun. It's not as convenient as streaming, but it almost feels more substantial because of it, and its more fun in my opinion. I also listen to music as I play games or write. But when it comes to games first, music second for me, it just took me finding THE song that really emotionally hit me, and got me into music properly, meanwhile i learned to read playing pokemon when i was 4 haha.
God i love Vinyl collecting, I especially like used vinyl because if you go to the right place its cheap and i sure love acumulating objects
