Rob has an incredibly pure voice! Pitch perfect, too! Great on the intervals, and spot on!
Rob is a triple threat!! Good looking, good actor and a brilliant singer
Its been 7 years since this release and I still listen to it at least once a day
Damn, this sounds absolutely amazing in a male voice. Wasn't expecting that. Fell in love with Rob a little whilst listening!
I didn't know I needed this until now.
+Alexis Costello Or you did not live until today😏
+Daeniel Quiambao HAHA great one
Beautiful
Beautiful voice.❤🎉😊 Eric Fong
Damn, no words can describe him and his glorious voice
Rob always brings beauty to every song. He's amazing as Marius
I have no words. I am obsessed with Phantom of the Opera and that was FANTASTIC
stunning rendition i was so moved ❤️
He has such a beautiful voice
This was absolutely beautiful. I thought his version of Goodbye was my favourite thing to listen to but it's been bumped off the list!
this reminds me of my mum rip mum 17.11.04
saw him as Marius the day before I started year 11, in September and he was incredible! He's so awesome
wow we have something in common because I also saw him as Marius
Amazingly beautiful!
he kind of reminded me of Aaron Tveit.
Same. Maybe that's why I like him so much lol
Yes! He and Aaron Tveit could be twins.
I love his voice!
i didnt know this was missing in my life until i saw it
I've been listening to this on repeat for ages 😂
its just so beautiful❤
Sublime.
So a Marius who sings this instead of Empty chairs?
This is everything, wow, just stunning
He has a great voice and this is a wonderful cover but I feel like the accompaniment takes away from the sensitivity and inner strength of the song
+McKayla O. I feel the same...
+McKayla O. I think it has something to do with the strumming of the guitar and the piano. But his voice is beautiful.
McKayla O. The accompaniment is too upbeat for the song.
The accompaniment seems a little too involved, too "happy." Michael Crawford's version would be a good starting place. But this guy has an amazing voice.
stunning voice but agree about the backing music
I can't stop listening to this. :)
I found West End's new Christine Daae LOL
More like Christian Daae xD
I have goosebumps
Amazing😍😍😍
This is such a gorgeous performance! OMG.
I NEEDED THIS!! 😍😍😍 AMAZING VOCALS
so perfect..
Fantastic voice Rob.
the acompaniment is great musically speaking but awful for the song. it just needs one piano myabe simple orchestrations as not to distract from the raw emotion and sadness and strength of the song. Rob is always so incredibly amazing , he’s like west end’s aaron tveit.
Fantastic arrangement! Brilliantly performed
This is a stunning cover!
😍😘😍😘 oh my! 😘
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KEY THIS IS IN THIS IS URGENT
Great voice. Nice interpretation..
which key did he use?
By far the best male cover of this song I have ever heard - absolutely beautiful. I don't know why you would choose to do this but if you wanted to see a worse version than this, please pop over to my channel and tell me what you think. I wouldn't bother though - this is better. Check out Jose Carreras singing this too.
John Owen Jones. Ftw :)
Good for a man singing a woman's part. Well done sir.
+Reagan Claire The song lyrics are gender neutral. And yes, he did sing it well.
Either he's amazing at saving himself or he made some lyrical changes. They all worked though :). And he has some great vocals.
Stunning
The last line, did he change it? I don't remember it as "No more gazing across the empty years" It was very poignant. This song reminds me of my Mom, this made me cry.
It's usually wasted years, so either he made a change or got a little confused, probably because he didn't have long to learn this! Still brilliant though.
when i heard the song, that line is "no more gazing across the *wasted years." i dunno if it has always been that sentence you said. 🤔
Does anyone know what key this is in? x
he was my Marius when I saw les miss
The instruments are too much... one piano is enough for this whole performance..his voice is beautiful anyway
The accompaniment was absolutely dreadful, and while Rob was singing there was a question running over and over in my mind - who died???
Agree that the accompaniment - especially the not-very-accomplished guitar playing - is to the detriment of the performance. But far more so are the out-and-out wrong chords. Everybody is a musician...
