I am always amazed at the motherly instincts just kick in!! She is absolutely caring, loving, gentle, watchful, protective, concerned, and a million other things!! And how such a big animal gives birth to such a tiny, tiny baby always leaves me scratching my head!! Bravo momma!!

Gorilla and Orangutan mothers are the most loving and affectionate with their babies in the primate family. We could learn a lot from their examples of motherhood. That baby is so freaking cute!!

@@margaretbachen6689 yes! Macaque monkeys are the worst! You would think they would want their babies to start eating regular food so the weaning process would go faster.

Thank you for your feedback. I intend to play somewhat quiet music because i dont want to pick up any conversations of fellow visitors. Besides that, gorilla's don't make that many noises. I turn off the sound on these kinds of videos, works great, is even better because you are not distracted at all.
They are such beautiful amazing animal's... They are really good parents especially mom the dads are too but in the dad way lol love watching them the babies are so adorable!!

Wow!!! I didn't know their babies were that tiny. The size ratio between mom and baby looked a lot like the size difference between me and my own son that was born 10 weeks early weighing in at 2lbs 14oz.
I think mommy Kisiwa was happy that little Mies was born small! :) Gorillas have a large tummy that makes them look bigger as well.

Pellets for vegetarian greater apes. Full of minerals, vitamins and whatsever a gorilla needs besides veggies, fruits, leaves and branches.
