I think you need to show examples because it is one thing to explain but I think with cash flow you need to show a forecast or a statement to show how it works.
Greatly explained Ms. Cate. Easily understandable terminologies used. I feel it would be more effective if explained diagrammatically or through flowcharts. Thank You.
Great video. But could be more helpful if you'd add some key stuff in writing at some side of the video or maybe use animation because it's difficult to grasp the concept by just listening. Anyways, i also wanted to learn how to make a cash flow statement, probably with an example. (how to segregate what belongs to which activity [operating, financing, investing]) Hope you will make a video teaching the above stated.
Hi Nishant: I'm glad you liked the video. I do have an old one that will give you a brief overview of the cash flow statement here: ua-cam.com/video/mhmaHayMha8/v-deo.html (which does include visuals) and if you need more info I recommend checking out one of my Curious courses: curious.com/catecosta?ref=Jf40GNR120Y Thanks!
Thanks, Aakash! First of all, sorry for the delayed response. I've been on vacation all of December :) There are a number of strategies to help you manage cash flow and the biggest is just making sure that you're aware of and tracking it. Too many entrepreneurs focus only on revenues and expenses, profits and losses, and never pay attention to when that money is coming into or going out of the business and so they get themselves in trouble. I do have an old video here [ua-cam.com/video/aoyLRd2QyXs/v-deo.html] with some tips for managing cash flow.
Thank you very much for your advise. i have got your ebook as well. Can you please advise where on your website I can get the cashflow analysis templates. Thanks again :)
Being somewhat new to the world of business accounting.. I think your explanation from 1:18 to 1:32 was pretty darn confusing. It's been said before, but some sort of chart or graphic would probably be more helpful than the hand gestures. ...if you're accepting feedback.
If you're working on building a new business I do one-on-one consulting for new entrepreneurs and I also have a book and some online courses. Try visiting www.CateCosta.com to get all of the details :)
Tet-a-tet consulting sounds even better. Let's say, I'm kind of a colleague, doing something with an idea, hoping for a reward. Are you the one making the presentation in the video?

Yes, I am the one in the videos.
Ok, let's watch the oscars, despite the singing of Neil Harris. You are residing in the US, aren't you?
Nice video ...and you looking beautiful in this video
Sorry what was that? I just heard a sweet voice :$
Should have used a high school kid for this. Would have been more suitable.
Too distracting to understand what she is saying.. Is this woman not absolutely gorgeous or what!!?
