Thanks Owen and Kendall, really enjoyed watching this, brilliant to see such great models, look forward to the live stream, from South Africa
Great video! Richards advice to build what you like is just spot on! Cheers!
Those gentle people offered precious advises, thanks for putting this together!
No problem, most of the thanks should go to them for taking the time to talk to us and share their tips
That was a very pleasant surprise guys, really enjoyed that and keep up the good work.
Cheers man, thank you!
You really put me there in 'Uddersfield.
Looking forward now to the Western Australian show at the end of April.
Tony Wood me to
Some really good builds on that show, love that gundams 👍
Great looking show and some great advise. Thanks.
Great work, well produced and edited.
Duncan was great! Sci Fi is one of my faves too. Love the Buck Rogers ship at 3:16!
"I was trying to avoid spending too much money here...." famous last words aren't they always!? 👍🏻
Thank you! and I agree, too much tempting stuff...
In all your videos I always learn new techniques thank you Owen and Kendal
That's great to hear! You're welcome
great video and a great show 👍 I loved the scratch built tank and the comments on halfords paints, they are indeed very good. I wonder, did Paul the show winner also build the merc 1.24 truck?
The 2018 Hudderfeild model show, the modellers gave me alot of useful advice. Some really nice models, especially the best of show vignette of the war in Syria. Great video, Owen.
Thanks John!
VERY well produced video! This format reminds me of a TV show - with the narration interspersed with interviews, show footage and background music. Well done, informative, and entertaining. I'm subscribing!
Thank you very much, I'm very pleased that you appreciate all the effort we went to:)
Great to see coverage of Huddersfield show. I saw Owen clutching his classic Airfix Hurricane and hoped he'd have time to peruse our Classic British Kits display. My only comment is that it is not a small model show, after Telford it's one of the largest. It's just that Telford is 10 bigger than anything else!
That is a very good point tbh, I'll make sure not to say that in the future. It was nice to see you there! :)
Owen, Kendall, thanks for making these videos. I really enjoy these, and they look very professional. Keep it up!
Thank you so much!
These are just amazing
I was incredibly pleased with my 3rd place at the Scottish Nationals last year when I realised that it was in the same class as that M50 SPG! It's a simply incredible model. His WIP for this years show (another scratchbuilt IDF vehicle) is looking amazing so far.
Really great video Owen and Kendall, keep it up.
Thank you very much 😀 You too
10/10 would watch again
Its realy good video Wen! Congratulation!
Benjamin Modells
Thank you Benjamin! :D
This video is really wholesome
Just fantastic....see you in the web
Awesome video!
Cheers!
Hooray for Kendall!
Amazing video Owen love all ur vids
Thanks Joe!
Hey quick kits can you possibly do a jet model such as the Harrier Gr.9 or the Eurofighter typhoon because I'd like to see a jet! I luv jets...but I also luv WWI stuff ...so like pls do a BE2C or a Harrier....don't mind which one you choose if you decide to!
A superb model show
Love that Liberator @4:56.
To say from your past vids. Your model painting and building us so smooth. My models are ugly or just missing parts.
Keep practising and you'll get there :)
Are you going to be at Telford this week for the next ipms
Me gusto mucho ...gracias por compartir....
No problem, I'm glad you liked it!
What's d difference between micro sol µ set?
Does anyone know of any model shows that consistently have gunpla (even if it's just small & preferably in yorkshire)?
fantastic
I might be going to a model show soon at telford
Awesome!
Keep up the good work Owen, what is next in your stash to build mate????
Either finishing the Bismarck, Abrams or a mini snow diorama
Wow well done great video
Thanks dude 😎
Yay
That flanker made me die because it was so beautiful
Hey Boss!
Nice video! Parabéns!
Thank you!
Soo coolll
I would love to go
Are you going in 2019
You and kendall are like the fsm presenters couple Nice
Man u are amazing
Haha thanks!
Bit of a random question, but did you go to Rastrick High? Love your channel!
Nope I didn't. I'm happy that you enjoy the channel!
hey Owen, how come when i use masking tape, the paint still bleeds through
Are you using masking tape specifically for model making eg Tamiya? If you're still having problems, run the blunt end of a matchstick along the edge of the tape to make sure it is properly stuck to the model
Superb looks show and again, Very well presented. Out of curiosity, will you be attending the Scottish nationals or Cosford Model Show this year ?
We might be able to, what are the dates?
Quick Kits Cosford : 8th April and Scottish Nationals: 28,29th April
I was going to go but I couldn't 😩
Are you coming to the model show in Hamilton (Canada) at the warplane heritage museum
What date is that? It's unlikely that we will though
3:54 Oh WoW! A space 1999 eagle. Is it still in production? What brand? Thanks
MPC/Round 2 does the 22" Eagle kits, still available.
@@Reactordrone Not sure never 1 in years and I always have this fear of buying online for fear of missing parts.
That Babylon 5 Earth-force warship and Bablyon 5 itself though
Really cool, can't come because I don't live in England or Europe. But are you going to come to the nationals for the US?
Where and when is it in the US? I'm glad you enjoyed the video
Quick Kits it's in pheonix Arizona on August 1-4
I'll see closer to the time :)
You guys could really be model show reporters or something similar.
Hmmm maybe 🤔😎
What's the meaning of scratch built and how to do it
Basically using a range of materials to build a kit, or part of it, rather than just building using what is in a kit box
Can you come to Torquay model show on may 26
I'd love to but it's a 6 hour journey from York, so I probably won't sorry
Hej Owen try to make some vacume model
What camera are you using?
Panasonic GH4
Thanks!
It's a great camera
Do you ever do giveaways?. I would enter right now
I did do a competition last year and I might do another later this year
Oh ok I really love this chanennel and you got me into wanting to do model airplanes so I am going to by one tomorrow. Keep doing a great job you are amazing
Owen when is next timelapse build pls...
Probably some time next month - I'm too busy to make videos atm

Little question:
Whats your favorite tank/airplane?
Plane: FW190, Tank: Tiger II (I'm all about the aesthetic 😂)
Quick Kits ahahah nice for my part it would be the p51B and the M4A2 76mm Sherman
10:43 yo I got that model for Christmas
MAKE THE SUNDERLAND !!!!!
Owen, build some sportscar model!
I'm talking to Revell at the moment and they might be sending me their new Ford GT kit
Quick Kits Wow. Would be Nice!
Noice
Hi
Good reason to stay out of Huddersfield
Makes Syrian minaret out of Xmas decoration 😳
I’m in school so I can’t watch this rn :(
1st
Cute couple
wow, that crashed Porsche 917 from le mans at 7:00 is insane. it looks exactly like the scene from the movie. you can even see the yellow lola underneath the car that they used in the movie
I know right?
That 'flanker' is actually a MIG-29 Fulcrum A. The model shown is Ukrainian Airforce fighter. I have built the exact same model, just struggling with the scheme.
Charlie Beer
It is a flanker, there are wingtip pylons which are not present on the MiG-29
Get with the correct terms. These are not "scratch built" models when they use other parts. They are called "kit-bash." Scratch build begins with sheet plastic and mold making. Further more, "professionals" use airbrushes, not just sable brushes. Finally, show us a "Best-in-Show" with competition.
Hi Trout thanks for your feedback. I think your suggestion of showing the runners up to Paul's winning diorama is a good one! Also you're right that Andy's M51 is indeed partly kit-bashed - thanks for the correction. I'm confused as to why you highlight the airbrushes though, as all of the modellers interviewed use one?
Very nice Ukrainian plane!
Is her your girlfriend?
Nope, my girlfriend is the camera operator :)
very shrewd...
