I like this.Myself i use to grow black and pinto beans on my ground. When they still in the garden and ready to be picked up i m happy to see,to live that time.
My 3 year old daughter LOVED this video. She eats black beans all the time, and just asked me during dinner "what is inside a bean?" So we found your video!
😲 you mean to tell me I've been stressing over seed depth & this whole time I could've sprinkled & poked?!? 😭 oh the unnecessary worry 😞. Whelp. Now I know thanks to you. Thank you. Definitely a thumbs up. 👍🏾
Give it a Grow I always love grabbing tips from my fellow gardeners. You never know what you're going to learn next, or what kind of tricks other people have that are working. I've been growing my own produce for about 6 years now, I was taught through a dear friend of ours who passed away from cancer. Before he did, he taught us so much about growing and boy he was one smart man and really knew his stuff. I am so grateful for the knowledge he gave me to get me started with my own garden. I love growing my own produce and always love to see what other people are doing because you never know when it's going to make your life a little bit easier.
Excellent video. The bean info is great but you always manage to add so much more interesting and helpful info. Photography is so well done, your arrangement of doing things. I would never have thought of putting all those veggies in together but, why not! Next spring is going to be great!
Give it a Grow Thanks! I didn't even think to grow these and I love them in all kinds if dishes. I get a lot of inspiration from watching what your growing and how You do it.!! I love gardening organically. I have a question for you actually, Do You use any kind of nutrients at all or just natural compost from your videos? I use a half compost half nutrients for the nitrogen, but grass clippings has nitrogen when decomposed in your compost pile, correct? It doesnt seem to be enough for my plants so im starting food scraps too to add. That helps with potassium, calcium and nitrogen as well right? Ive only used grass and leaves for compost with eggshells and magnesium, it seems to do great. but I find when it comes to fruiting and flowering time they lack quite a bit. Thats when I supplement with nutrients once a week, it's Bonnie brand for veggies and herbs. It doesnt have as much chemicals which I like, but I don't want to use it anymore because than I need to worry about flushing them out so I'm not ingesting nutrients and I want to avoid that step. Lol Any advice? I also just started no color corn for the first time so I'm going in blind with that one. I know how to keep them alive and producing but it never hurts to have more production in the end organically!😊
Thanks so much for the video! It was really helpful! If I planted black bean plants in a 4 foot by 4 foot raised bed, do you have a guess of about how many black beans (in whatever measurement works best for you) I would get back? I’m trying to figure out how much I should plant. Thanks so much for your help!
😮 He didn't organize and label any of the seeds. How will he know???!!😂😂😂😂😂 very informative video. 💆🏾♀️ my habitual perfectionism was challenged but well informed. 😂
CC CC 😉💜🥒🌽🥕 I need to see things growing already!.. lol. I am getting so impatient with this summer heat sticking around. Here in Fl we get in triple digits so I'm hoping the ones I plant out there these next few days will be ok. This summer has been a struggle with rain and bugs.. I'm going to get them in the ground and see how they do. I dream of squirrel's tossing my fruit and veggies up in the air and eating them while I'm sleeping. I forget the name of that movie but they were stealing all the fruit out of the garden and being sneaky about it! Lol . I'm hoping they don't do that with my cherry tomatoes. I have like 15 sets already and it's still getting to be a monster. Lol I'm on constant watch so I can get to them a little early before they do. Plus, I always have more to replace them just in case the ones for my fall don't make it right now. I really need to invest in a shade cloth but I am pretty handy and creative so I'll figure something out on my little to no budget 😁 I ended up getting hurt in a car accident which leads to a lot of my muscle and nerve problems so it's hard for me to do a lot of things that's easy for most. We try to live as little as we can and utilize what we have saved over the years.
CC CC yes. It wasn't recently though.. It happened about 10 yrs ago and the effects of it really did a number on my back, shoulder from the seatbelt, and my neck at times.. I was pretty messed up for 3 months. It's slowly getting worse and creeping up on me as I get older. I'm only 31. I didn't realize at the time how severe this was going be. I live healthy, excersise daily and learned to live through the pain without taking these god awful prescriptions they hand out like candy. It doesn't stop me from doing what I love which is connecting with nature and harvesting my own food. 😊 Just takes me longer and different ways than most. I want a little farm with a huge garden. I need a small house because it will only be for resting my head. I'm outside most of my days anyway becajse it helps me to clear my head and relax. I have to try these beans. I planted up bush blue lake beans and can't wait to try them. My first time growing these kind.
The second half of this video is sooooo informative. The casualness of planting your seeds is astonishing. My type of gardening. Hahahaha.
Oh yeah, I love easy planting methods, and you can see it works great!
I'm so excited to move and have a backyard just so I can do this! I want to live off of all of my own food when I grow up!

Super helpful as we are growing black beans for the first time and were so impressed with how easy they are to grow!
Never knew how black beans grew. So cool!
Awesome! Thanks for watching :)
I've got a big plate of black beans in front of me right now, so thank you.
Love watching your garden. Thanks for sharing your bean harvest!
I'm glad to share as much as I can, I hope you can pick up a few tips here and there :)

Thanks! I do polyculture to the extreme, with such a small garden I like to pack in the plants!
Your voice and spirit is so soothing😊
I'm going to try these out! I love beans 😊

What variety of bean did you plant?
thank you for this video!! so cool!!
I was wondering how tall the black bean plant grows. I heard you can also eat them as micro greens.
They only get a few feet tall, like a little bush. Beans sprouts can be a nice treat :)
good call on the extra moisture. they would've moist.

Black beans + potatoes + onions = great bean stew in a crock pot.
Yumm!
i love the way you kinda just plant all crazy. do you thin that out or just let it grow as is?
enkor2113 me too😁

How long dose black beans take Before maturity
How can I get a black bean seed ...sent me plz
I found them on Etsy
You can buy a bag of them at a grocery store they will grow
Thank you. Good information 👍
Can you cut leaves of the plants to keep them alive longer?
A true reminder that spacing isn’t all the important! I hate having bare spots in my garden so I too densely plant.
Nice! In smaller gardens, we kind of have to plant densely.
Cool! How big r those pots?
How big r 4th hose pots? Please
Not sure the exact size but about the size of an exercise ball, you can grow beans in smaller pots than that too.
@@GiveitaGrow ok, thank you! 💜
Who’s here because they never thought about how how black beans grow...
can u eat them as sting beans?
Yes!
Can u see the beans?
? I dont know what you mean...?
I didn't know can plant them so causally. Don't ur plants need space to grow? Will these be overcrowded?
If you have the space, up to a foot apart is good. I like the cram them in because I grow mostly in large pots.
how tall do the black bean plants grow?
A little over a foot tall.
@@GiveitaGrow Cool, think I will try growing some
How long dose black beans takes to mature
Why they all mixed up
What a lovely bean
Black Bean shell ASMR video?
Oh that would have been great! I filmed one of me eating Peas, but I dont know if eating is fit for ASMR.
ever try the black beans from Goya?
Yep, Goya has all the beans!
...that’s the project I’m on right now...planting a bag of Goya black beans. Hope they’re bush beans.
Damn ittttt. I cut them before I watched this!!!!
Beauties! Happy International Picnic Day!
Thank you!
Oooooh I could never waist seeds like that..
Is this a video?
Really 😂
Nice piling of bean pods edited to the beat
Thanks!
Black beans does it kill chicken's
the music is too loud
I don't know why? But I totally believe him 😜
it was fun to watch, I don't it is safe to mix different edible plants together; because the flavor of the plant could offset the other plants.
