I sell a product to gas stations, most put a 40% profit margins with great sales. Others see the sales doing good and then they up the price to 50-60% margins but there sales for the item drops by at least 60%. Some get very greedy and it’s mostly the same demographic of gas station owners that do this.
Yes I’m looking at dropping margin where we get good prices, because we get more return from selling multiple items, rather than high priced items sitting for longer on the shelf.l.
i have a supermarket in the country of Ghana where the business practice is different. there are about 10 in the same area selling the same items i sell. we all buy from different areas or suppliers. i need help with estimation my selling price.
there is the classic store with brick and mortar let's call it 1.0 in this store, products almost never change and the owner chose the products it is boring now, there must be a new store let's call it 2.0 in this store, products always change and people choose the products there will be via an app on the app, there is a huge catalog, people choose the products that will show up in the store. the store is constantly being supplied with the products people choose
@@Zo-hc2fn If people had that much forethought to select via an app and wait for it to be stocked in the store, why not just buy it online? This is all about impulse items that will appeal to the majority not niche shit nobody has because the demand is minuscule

My dad owns 3 grocery stores lol
Where at?
Would you like to sell them?
I don't think it work well in every countries.
This is just math, it's works no matter where you are.
Informative!! Thks
I sold human bits bc of this
I think everything should be the same price at these stores, isn't it price gouging to take advantage of convenience?
Then go somewhere else that's less convenient and get a cheaper price. You can't have your cake and eat it too my guy
Moron.
This is stupid,no need to calculate your profit that you want fool,so as long as you get 100%, wow,
