- Should the Israeli government do anything it can to bring the hostages home including another ceasefire and prisoner deal? Are the families of the kidnapped united in the stance to release the hostages "at all costs"?
To discuss all this, Tzvika Mor, whose son Eitan was kidnapped by Hamas, joins the show. Tzvika and his wife Ditza are founding members of the Tkuma (Arising) forum of parents of hostages who oppose making a deal with Hamas to rescue the hostages.

Incredible story. I saw an earlier report where some opposition members of the Knesset were pushing for a ceasefire until the hostages were returned. It is hard to put yourself in such a difficult place. Hamas is a terrorist group and they have failed to provide a list of hostages and did not allow the Red Cross to see the hostages. Meanwhile Hamas has recently announced that they were murder all the hostages. I am not sure how you negotiate with the terrorists at this point. However hostages who were known to be alive are now showing up dead and in some cases tortured before they were killed. I hope I am never in the position this father and his son Atom are in. Just horrible. I am sure emotions are high. "When the Arabs start loving their children and stop hating the Jews, they will have Peace". Meir Quote rephrased, my apologies.

A couple of days ago, I was honored by somebody who thought I was Israeli because she saw my star of David that I started wearing since the massacre committed by evil Hamas. As a Christian, I can only support and pray for my Israeli family. Jews and Christians are one in Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm in awe of this father. Since October 7 I have been saying " this is the result of the hostage exchange of the past and we must not do it again. Still I know if it was my son I could not say that". Here is a father who said it before and who is still saying it. This is the meaning of courage!

I’m sure there are some people who may make such a statement, “Don’t trade terrorists for me” and once there in captivity have second thoughts. W
Either way, God bless the son. I can’t imagine.
It's one thing to trade one for one. Quite another to trade 1028 for one. This war must be fully won. Soldiers have died as a result of the first ceasefire. Soldiers have died trying to rescue hostages, including dead hostages. And soldiers have died avoiding killing enemy civilians, which is actually a war crime. Soldiers lives are no less valuable than the lives of the hostages. And there will be many more deaths of Israelis if this war is not fully won. More than that; if this war is not fully won, the State of Israel will cease to exist!
Consequently, the primary goal of the war should not be to free the hostages. It's hard, but that's what leadership is all about. Unfortunately, there are many people in Israel who are very selfish, indeed. The Shalit deal should should have been a lesson, but for many it wasn't. The cold hard truth is that many Israelis have died as a direct result of the Shalit deal, and it was known that this would be the outcome. So the hard question is, how moral was the Shalit deal?
Moreover, in these situations the Government of Israel caves in to overwhelming pressure, but ordinarily the State couldn't care less about individual citizens! If Israel really cared for every citizen, this situation would never have arisen in the first place! Unfortunately, the majority of Israelis are not like this man or his son. If all Israelis, even just the majority of them, were like this man and his son, Israel and much of the world would be a much better place.

Sadly, this man is very naive if he puts his trust and faith in the Israeli people or the Israeli Government. But he has no choice but to support the Israeli Government. He talks of Am Yisrael as one, but he knows different. He knows most only care about themselves.
