In this clip, Dappy talked with DJ Dubl about the formation of the group N-Dubz along with his cousin Tulisa and friend Fazer. He also detailed the moment he realized that he was famous after a show headlined by N-Dubz.
In this clip, Dappy was visibly frustrated by DJ Dubl's line of questioning regarding N-Dubz. After expressing his discontent with the topic, the conversation pivoted to Dappy explaining how his friends reacted to his success. Coming from a-less-than affluent area, Dappy said he felt the need to take care of everyone who was loyal to him on his ascension.

Dappy was being a diva here. How can he not expect to be asked about N-Dubz, the group that made him famous and who most UK viewers will be wanting to hear information about. If this interview was only about his solo career, the video would only be 5 minutes long.
He talked about NDUBZ FOR ages then he started talking about his dad. He asked a few times to move on before he had to have an outburst to change the subject then returns to being calm. The interviewer was taking the piss he had to settle him and then they moved on

Dappy does the same thing when asked about his stint on Celebrity Big Brother, first refusing to talk about it, then insisting that the interviewer doesn’t refer to it as Celebrity Big Brother. I think this interview from both sides was always doomed from the start. Dappy doesn't want to comment about NDubz (the band that got him to where he is, he needs to accept that). Also the interviewee just glanced over the fact he mentioned his dad died, carried on asking questions and didn't make a comment saying "ah sorry to hear" etc, that would probably piss me off in all honesty so left a sour taste from both sides for the rest of the interview

Nah Blazin Squad proved white kids in the uk like urban music. N Dubz were 1 of the groups to inspire & pave the way for grime/drill to become more accepted in the mainstream right now.
