@@tn1077 I highly recommend checking out the website of David Ditch. It is called 'Ditch's Wrestling Page'. From there you can find and download matches from entire VAULTS ranging from All Japan to New Japan to Joshi (Japanese womens' wrestling) promotions. If you wish to go on a 90s All Japan journey of your own, I highly recommend starting with Jumbo Tsuruta vs Tiger Mask II (Misawa) in March 1988.
The Holy Demon Army is the greatest tag team of all time, there's no single team like them, the coordination, the story, the mystique. They were living in the shadows so long, and they had to build their own light. A light made with FIRE.
While the story of Kawada may indeed be a tragic one, it's kind of ironic how he probably has the least tragic story out of anyone in the four pillars. Misawa worked himself to death, Kenta Kobashi had brain cancer, and Akira Taue (while thankfully not being struck by lightning) is still probably regarded as "the worst pillar" and it is kind of difficult to argue against that. You could even lump Baba, Steve Williams, Terry Gordy, and Jumbo into this as well. All of those being drug and disease related, although addiction is a disease. A real shame that most of the memorable people from one of the greatest eras are gone. Oh and like GREAT video by the way. Legitimately one of your best.
I'm so fucking happy to see this series back! Honestly, ever since this series began, I've been waiting to get to The Holy Demon Army and I can't wait to see where things go from here.
I found this channel like a lot of people because of Eddie Kingston and spent all last night binging the series. Looks like I picked a great time to jump in. I’ve seen some Misawa and Kenta matches, but haven’t been versed in the whole backstory. Thanks for doing this man, you’ve given me a lot of appreciation for the King’s Road. 🍻
Holy Demon Army are the greatest tag team of all time in my opinion. They just escalate violence so incredibly and there’s not a more badass duo. And man, sometimes I forget how great of a leg seller Kawada is. Probably the greatest of all time. Subtle things that show that he fights through it, instead of overcoming and subsequently ignoring it just to hit his moves.
Welp...this is it...1993...after this there's no going back. We're at the doors of 1994 and boy that's a calendar year for wrestling let me tell you, all across the Japanese land scape the ground work for modern independent promotions is being laid down thanks to companies like W*NG and FMW, other bigger one's like AJPW and NJPW are doing fantastic business with there top stars and in the case of NJPW a deeper mid card roster than AJPW who for some reason never figured to give there Junior Heavyweights a spot and it's mid card stars any shine what so ever after taking the three main tittles and unifying them and somewhere in the north of the country these weirdo indie guys are putting up posters of this fucking weird style of puroresu mixed in with Lucha libre and calling it Lucharesu, what was there name again? I think it was Michinoku pro or something? Idk, it was probably a no name promotion, didn't amount to jack shit, I'm sure they won't end up influencing thousands of dumbass california, new york and chicago kids into starting and developing a wrestling style that has been the cancer of pro wrestling america for years. IM SURE IT WON'T END UP LIKE ANYTHING, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOTHING.
Seeing Kawada with all his teeth made me research only to realize he wore dentures. This is something I never knew and have only ever seen Kawada with missing teeth up until now.
Forget Wrestlemania, this is the main event right here! So happy to see this video- the dynamic of former rivals teaming up is one of my favourites in wrestling and I've been looking forward to this one for a while!
I've been waiting for this for so long! Let's take another trip down... The Kings Road. ❤ That dangerous backdrop driver looked so viscous‼️ Honestly I'm surprised that didn't get the win for Kawada to be honest. But as it is known and has always been said; Misawas. Elbow. Is. GOD❗ As always an enjoyable video kudos to you & thank you. 🙂
Awesome video Joseph 💯 ... The Holy Demon Army is one of the all time greatest tag teams keep making more episodes of Walking The King's Road I love this series
In my opinion Taue may be the best tag team wrestler of all time. He gets my pick for Man of the Match in most of the epic tag matches I’ve seen him in.
Terrific video sir, every second of it was enjoyable. Thank you for your hard work and passion for this project, it's a always a highlight of my day to watch these videos.
Sometimes it’s little things. Taue damage might be most but such great point made in video how it’s him helping his partner for title match the next day.
the story of misawa is that of a champion, a great guy who loved wrestling, who died for his love for wrestling TRUE legends lives in our minds and heart!

Imagine being in attendance in the 7/29/93 show and being treated to both Hansen Kobashi and Misawa Kawada
This video may be about the Holy Demon Army, but you are doing the Lord's work my man!!! Bravo.
Holy Demon Army v Misawa/Kobashi
Best puroresu tag team match ever
How appropriate that Holy Demon Army is Episode 13. Great stuff as usual Joseph!

No mention of Kobashi vs Misawa and Kobashi vs Kawada ? I reffer to the description
The REAL highlight of Wrestlemania weekend. Great quality, King.
Also fucking hell... That Misawa elbow on Kawada made me jump.
will you make some videos about tarzan goto e jumbo tsuruta?
Never liked Taue. Akiyama replaced him later.
The Four Pillars should be an anime series
HDA ALL FUCKIN DAY LET’S GO
Its scary watching all the bumps misawa took. Knowing what happened to him later on.
Were not Taue and Kawada footloose?

Hi man where do find such high quality footage ?
The Holy Demon Army sounds like your local high school growth group.
It feels wrong to watch Kawada scream will a full set of teeth.
i'm not a fan of really long matches that's why i don't watch alot of japanese wrestling promotions that why i watch Joseph Montecillo on youtube.
This makes no sense....as some of the videos are as long as the matches
