I said this on your main channel when you returned a few months ago, but your Terrain Made Easy channel is a great legacy, there's a lot of stuff I keep coming back to - your experiments in foamcore, other foam tips, your Star Wars buildings. I have a lot of projects on the go, so while I usually try to have some showpiece pieces, I also need a lot of easy to do pieces. Long-winded way of saying I hope the channel stays up for its legacy (and because I come back to it often, so enlightened self interest).
Even as a seasoned hobbyist, I found your stuff worth watching and I got lots of ideas from it. It may be quick, cheap and easy, but the quality was great. Just do whatever youre passionate about though
@@TerrainMadeEasy I appreciate all your videos. Definitely has helped me just starting out. Please don’t delete the content. Ill be following the new channel. Do what makes you happy ♥️ You filled a niche and I wish all your new endeavors all the best.
While I've been into warhammer for three years now I always found UA-cam was near impossible to find truly cheap terrain until I found you and had everything made easy so with that said I wish you luck on your new channel
I think your quick easy and cheap was great for beginner's like me. I very much appreciate everything I learned from you. I look forward to you returning one day
Hey man I just wanted to thank you. Even if you didn't love it you were the first videos that got me into the rabbit hole of terrain building. You made it easy and approachable to start. From those I springboarded into other creators and I have enjoyed the journey, thanks again.
just found this channel again, this hcannel helped me start a lot and i really hope you come back, not necesarily as a easy terrain if it's so bothersome but as a more cool detailed terrain
Yea, never force yourself to do something you don't like or hate. And I thank you for what terrain guides you made they really helped me out. Thank you and have a nice day.
Your terrain work was great for someone just startnig out with only a handful of supplies. I'm one of the weirdos who subbed after the channel uploads stopped (if only to make it easier to find again) -- it's nice to have a ping from it and know you're getting on well with other stuff. I'll pop over to your new channel. I do like listening to batreps in the background while I paint and it's fun to listen to you. Will you do any stuff for smaller games like Frostgrave/Stargrave or OPR? Or maybe reviewing games?
As someone who has just got into making basic terrain as I am a beginner in Warhammer, I appreciate that you kept this content up and the videos you've made. So thank you! :)
fair enough dude. Hope you enjoy you're new direction. Don't do anything you dont want to do. Just be careful not fall under the trap of having to bear the yoke of GW to chase cash/views. Good luck bro
Your new channel is good, short, informative opinion pieces. I do miss your terrain content as simple, fast, easy is a great place to try stuff out. I also appreciated having a terrain builder using materials that are easy to get in the UK.
Buddy I know that feeling u had I changed my UA-cam channel a bit to include more of the hobby side of our hobby and I'm a lot happier with doing stuff that's not just terrain builds + I get models built and paint so fir me it's a win win I'm glad u have got ur flow back and found the way forward
I like the tips and seeing someone possibly approaching something from a different point of view but the attraction of the channel was mostly you as a person so I can't wait to see some gaming content.
Sounds perfectly fine, everyone has their own preferences and there is nothing wrong with getting fed up with something. Personally I wouldn't care to make too much simple terrain - dioramas though? That's the stuff. Just enjoy what you can and follow it!
It's a good body of work. I don't think much needs to be added to it. I think it's enough to get folks started, and most will be able to extrapolate from there.
I have a quick question. If you had a group of people that would regularly submit ideas for cheap and easy terrain, people that would send good pics, video footage, and notes for the build idea, would you edit them together with a quick voice over and post them? Make it a community group effort between viewers and yourself? Would that interest you?
I'm going to try my hand at videos eventually. But I doubt I'd be working with anyone but some close friends. And honestly the editing already scares me a bit.
I like your honesty in this video. I will probably look at your wargaming channel simply because of your honesty. I don't know if I will subscribe to the war game channel though as it may not be my cup of tea but we'll see. Thank you for your time and effort on this channel, if you decide to come back to it I will be here.
You're a sound dude, man. I think I gravitate here because of your perspectives & ideas. Already subbed to the new channel. Keep up the good work & engagement.
Well I said it before, I started making terrains watching first your very young channel. Was probably one of your early subscribers and thank you for that. I dont have a channel but I do make my share of terrain for myself and others from time to time, for a few different games. See you around
Well nice to see you again. A shame I was here for legion terrain and I suck at making or painting anything so this was perfect for me and I liked the content a lot. Have fun doing what you're doing instead.
Did you really think that we haven't already found your new channel? :D I will miss your terrain making adventures but I very much get what you were saying here. Also, I hope you'll organize some live streams on your new channel in the future, those were always great fun here.
I've enjoyed subscribing (and resubscribing, and resubscribing again) to all your channels Jay. I think you're taking the right approach. No sense in burning yourself out. Just cover what interests you (with some Star Wars Legion news here and there of course). :)
Lol you guys are the true MVPs. Thank you so much. Yeah I think the little bit of legion stuff make sense as that's what I'm actually doing and enjoying. And I'm excited for the old world and taking about gw, it's just easier on me as well
Heh. "Does that sound like someone who enjoys the hobby?" Uhh... my entire shtick is, basically, "Simple. Quick. Cheap. Modular. Let's aim for all 4." 😆 That said, "being true to yourself" is vital. There's zero point in continuing, if it has become a slog. So, yeah, you do you, and I'm still watching your passion projects
Thanks Cross, I appreciate all your support. If you enjoy what you are doing then that's the main thing, I just know I wasn't doing it for the right reason
