This is the first Dr. High Yield video I'm watching for my shelf tomorrow.. can't believe I'm just discovering this pure gasoline at my 5th shelf o.o dang but seriously, THANK YOU! The way you flash the visuals and pneumonics is *chef kiss*
simply excellent. you are right every thing cant be covered in a one hour revision. still. what i felt lacking is . pics there should be more pics and table /protocol. still 99 percent satisfied. much much helpful . i will listen it three four times before my exam that is after four days. and i guess things will go in a better direction.
Internist + Neurologist & 'Old' IMG watching these now for Mccqe1 Canadian licensing exams (& maybe step2 ck) that I plan to take in a month's time. Pretty solid stuff I say. Wish I'd been more like you 2 decades ago! 😅
To remember Varum vs. Valgum I think of a bow-legged gunslinging cowboy desperado who gets off his horse and says, "this town and big enough Varus both"
Updated treatment for gonococcal conjunctivitis is IV or IM third-generation cephalosporin. Ointment erythromycin is for prevention and oral erythromycin is used to treat chlamydia.
No problem! Antibiotic choices can be tricky. I used a combination of sources, mostly the BRS pediatrics book with UWorld. If they had different antibiotics, then I would remember both. Because it is unlikely that the multiple choice Q's will have both of the antibiotics to choose from. I would also have a general idea of what antibiotics cover what bugs from like First Aid for Step 1 for back up. Hope that helps!
According to UWorld, the benefits of using doxy for Lyme disease in children outweighs the risks. I got a question wrong because I put amoxicillin for a 6-year-old with Lyme.

@32:52 you say that Caput is "*Bleeding* within the scalp". If I am not mistaken it is Edema within the scalp

yeah guideline changed - as long as they are not on doxy (i think its more than 2-3 weeks) for long time, you can prescribe it
