This video filled in a long standing missing piece of the puzzle from my childhood. My father took me around Glasgow where he was from including the Kelvingrove Art Gallery (though I'd forgotten the name long ago). What I clearly remember is the feeling of vertigo I had from gazing at that Salvador Dali. There was a feeling of hovering over it, looking down beyond the cross into the void. He got the perspective and the colours so right. I didn't know any of that at the time. I quickly forgot the name of the painting, the artist and the name of the gallery, I was only 10 years old, but never the sensation of getting light headed and falling forward. I'm 66 now. On reflection it impressed upon me why art museums are important. No reproduced print and certainly no image seen on a screen is going to elicit those feelings.
@@Krystalmyth Yeah ... I really noticed that ... rather ... unsettling that Craig suddenly turned from his convivial personality. I wonder if it was Mila chatting so much about smoking and scotch, bringing back bad memories.
Yes that's true. Playful and amusing. Have to say though he never put across any point of view re current affairs and always tried to put himself on the 'centre' of viewpoints. I suspect he's now a rabid catholic and follower of State Capitalist politics (i.e. he'll be a Joe Biden/Democrat Party follower and over here in the UK a Labour Party supporter). I also, despise the crawling attitude of him saying he's... 'an American'. You can also read into his viewpoints by WHO he invites onto his show and the way they're treated.
Like a lot of people, I stumbled upon Craig Ferguson a few years after he left the Late Late Show, he was by far the best talk show host around, in my opinion. Even when other hosts couldn't open their mouths without bashing someone or stating their clueless corporate opinions on politics he held fast to entertainment. Best of luck to you in whatever you are doing now.
Every single mainstream talkshow now is grossly political, every single one without exception. Suppose they always were, really, they're just more blatant about it now.
I wonder if this channel is some sort of official channel. It contains tons of structurely named videos of entire episodes. The other fan channel that compiles episodes of the same celebrity was recently shutdown.

Just found this and looking forward to viewing it! None of these ladies are his wife? Has he ever introduced het to us, or does he keep that private. Of all the late night talk shows ever, he's the only one I could envision chatting with in person in my living room.
The Salvador Dali painting was bought for about £8000 but is now worth much more, the Spanish tried to buy it back for 80 million pounds. Glasgow refused.
Believe it or not, it had it, late 70s, early 80s, and it was a great improvement. But you need sunshine and blue skies to get the full effect. And you know, Glasgow, sunshine, blue skies...the next conjunction is predicted for 2027.

As the kids who once got coffee for Network Execs now have taken the jobs of Network Execs, we see Kimmel, Fallon, Colbert as their choice of hosts. When you see Craig off the air, you can safely say, those Network Execs should have stayed running for coffee.
Whilst ‘The Imagineers’ are good, I must say I enjoyed Craig singing the opening with piano and bass as he did for the shows in Paris. And, could Tweeto be any thicker?!
There was a brilliant moment once with Mila Kunis on Craggy's show when she revealed that when she started on That '70s Show she was only 14. Craig was immediately fake horrified and Geoff went "Uh-oh". Kunis got it straight away and laughed heartily. Craig patted her on the head like she was a little girl about whom he may have had some inappropriate thoughts. Kulis must be fully aware that many males of all ages may have had such thoughts. Not me, of course. (Check out about 25.00 into this: ua-cam.com/video/PopSV3RayG0/v-deo.html)

What i realize from watching this, is Craig is the absolute best at in-studio interviews and his conversational skill is unmatched, but for remotes and travel segments Conan's warmness, goofyness and his spontanity will always be much more entertaining. Both well deserved their legend status.
Well when he was tripping on acid his friend was looking like the Jolly Roger and he and his friend heard them....the killer ducks. i assume to him flamingos are bigger pinker killer ducks XD.
Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel can't entertain like Craigy Ferg
But Conan can!
and not with that budget, that would be impossible for those guys

Certainly is a city of contrasts;
on one hand, tough, hard environment, on the other, cultural & educational gem.
He's the most charismatic person to be on TV since the glory days of TV.
Sittin' in a pub with Mila Kunis isn't a bad way to make a living, it seems to me.
Yup !
He got bored of it somehow... I don't even understand. xD

Craig’s show was the best of all the late night shows.

The Late Late Show theme just has a Beatles vibe to it, man.
I didn't realise one of the Scotland episodes was on his 50th birthday that's cool

Mila Kunis. She's so damn adorable!

This is insane! 😂😂😂😂 loving every second of it.
Craig: I would bite my own balls to take my mind of the fact that I'm being attacked by a bear.
Ariel: Hmm...
This is the best thing I've seen on UA-cam since flash Gordon.
