So this one is from the annual Bass Roamer comp that is put on by the West Wight Danglers.
We can fish from 6pm one day to 6pm the following, weigh in at the end. I'm by no means a bass fisherman, but this is what worked for me.
Not overly happy with this edit, so apologies if its not great
If anyone is interested, I do now have a few caps and t-shirts for sale, which will help to pay for bait etc. Caps are £13, T's are £15
We have also sorted out some stickers, if anyone is interested, please send an email and we'll sort it out, we are asking for £2 for them, which will hopefully contribute to some bits and bobs.

Thank you so much Gareth, we did have a lovely meal thank you, I took a picture to put at the end of the video, but I forgot to put it in the edit. Kept some back for the freezer too. Thanks mate, it was just great to get the target. I haven't really done much in the way of bass fishing, so it was nice to get a couple, and get it right. It's a completely different way of fishing, but I really enjoyed it. Hope you're doing OK dude🙏🙏🎣

That's why I stick a bell on my tip light nowadays. I nearly lost the lot a few years ago when a big smoothie hit while I was busy watching the ships go by.
Always seems to happen when I'm not looking, I was on it with the first one, I could sense he was having a go with the bait, but definitely dropped the ball on the second one. I have bought a bite alarm that goes on the rod. Its for carp fishing etc, but I'm going to use it for bassing hopefully 👍👍

Thanks Jay mate, I was so happy to get a couple, could have maybe fished on and had a bigger one, but I had two keepers, so was at the limit anyway. Was super exciting to get target at a spot you pick. Very different style of fishing though. 👍👍🎣🎣

Great stuff mate! Glad you forgot the chest cam - hate those shots. Good to see good sized bass. They're not daft -unlike cod. They spend their lives avoiding nets etc. Can't wait to have a crack myself as SOON AS THE WIND DROPS!
Yeah I tend to not use it at night anyway, but I know what you mean. Was ace to get it right, new mark for bass for me, and I'll definitely be back there again👍👍

Nice one Dylan, the way that second bite was going, maybe you should invest in a bell, you're lucky it didn't get off. Your videos are getting a lot better. Your new gear for filming is paying off. I. sure miss bass fishing in the UK as there's not many on the Pacific Northwest coast of Southern Oregon where I now live.

Cracking fish mate. Climb further round to the right mate, just left of of fort Albert, I got a 11lb bass there about 20 yards out on shore crabs (not even peelers) a couple of years ago, also many 5-8lb bass caught there over the years. It's the crabs there they come in and feed on. Worth the extra effort trust me

Well done mate thats the way to do it although if it was me i probly would of fished the tide back in as the fish were obviously there and on the feed , never know you might of had a double figure one i know they have been caught from there in the past.👍👍

Cheers buddy, bit monsters, but enough on the night. Was nice to pick a venue that I haven't fished for bass before, and get it right. Could have been a few down there, but I had my fill. It's so different to the bass fishing with you on those beaches. It's funny how the tactics change on certain venues or even different parts of the country. Tightlines mate 👍👍🎣🎣🙏

Well fished Dylan and congratulations. Is the comp only for and bait or can you lure fish as well, although the sea didn't look ideal for lure fishing, I'm just interested.
Thanks mate. I believe you can use a lure, with one treble. As you. Am see the comp is very much based on trust. To the right of me, there is a wall that can produce with a lure. I don't do much on the lure to be honest though👍👍👍
