Hi Nazaru Lan, thank you for sharing information on Japanese culture. It is nice to hear that you have adjusted to their way of life. I think I would really enjoy living in Japan although I don't speak Japanese.
I've never been to japan, but dealing when i was 20 years old with japanese when i went to USA for the first time was a real hassle to me. From the country i'm from, where i am used to greet people kissing them on the cheeks or hugging close friends in public like it was the first normal thing in the world, with japanese i had this kind of issues and it got me depressed a little over time due to not being used to this kind of apparent "cold attitude". Now at 30, looking way back 10 years ago I realized over time I had very limited knowloedge of other cultures, especially how in asia people behave and i had to adapt myself. Luckily when i was living in China thing did not turn out bad cuz i learned from that experience. If i had to go to japan and stay there for a while, i will surely adapt myself to the environment, not with the same mindset i had, especially cuz of all the unwritten rules japanese society has. (Not gonna deny that some things you really want them like in some anime though) BTW, i can't recognize your English accent. Are you from Britain or Australia?
EXCELLENT! You have to be flexible no matter what!, Have a good and hard caracter!, Able to change in situation when needed!, Respect as a modifier!, Building up reassurance and try to integrate or involve in a specific activities that the japanese likes and that you feel would be easier to challenge!, Within the culture/country of your choice generate positivities, concentrate/visualize in a mental state (chronicity) to achieve a happier integration in the culture. Remember there are cultures that are easy, moderate and very difficult!, Having a hard standing of yourself, be able to learn your daily achievements with respect, don't expect perfection, but your efforts will carry tropĥies!
I believe that is because school life activities are so essensial in Japan educational system people are annoyed when someone does not take it serious. I remember my school would get absolutely deserted right after classes😑 Привіт from Ukraine btw.
I've definitely heard the "they won't explain WHY things are done that way, beyond "this is how it's done"" thing from other people who went from the west to Japan The need to know exactly how old someone is so you know if you should treat them like superior or inferior people sounds like a hassle xD
How about trying to get a medium-sized motorcycle license? Many men who immigrated from the West enjoy motorcycles as a hobby. You can buy it if you work part-time.
Hello from Phoenix Arizona. Where are you from? Originally I have a friend that moved to Japan from America many years ago probably 25 years ago and he’s come back to visit but he likes living in Japan when he first got there he did not know one word of Japanese he told me he would go in a store and he did not know if he was buying shampoo or drain cleaner.anyway he likes it there. I just wanted to know where your country is
I’m curious. Since you’re Ukrainian and you attend school in Japan, how was that process of moving into the school? You probably have a video on this already. Were you given any help in regard to learning the language? I imagine learning Japanese is easier once you live in that environment but I’m wondering if you still have a hard time reading some things. Especially since all of your assignments and notes are in Japanese
After living for almost two years here, it’s much easier, but sure sometimes I still have problems with reading Kanji, but in general I feel comfortable, thanks for asking)
I've lived/worked in Japan for 8 years and speak no Japanese. You can go through 90% of situations (restaurant/retail) with only a 5 phrases: Hello/Konnichiwa, Good Morning/Ohayo Gozaimas, Excuse Me/Sumimasen, Yes/Hai, I'm Fine-OK/Daijobu
I'm talking about retail/restaurant/transportation situations which account for 98+% of all verbal interactions with people (excluding education/employment, yes I'm an English teacher). The other
The situation that occurs the most is the cashier blah, blah, blah to you when making a purchase (Want a bag? Points card? ...) That's when you just keep repeating Daijobu (I'm OK/Good)
Be honest, I love Japan

At your age, it's time to go on an adventurous journey.
In Japanese, it is called "SEISYUN"
Oh so basically we have to become Japanese to enter Japan 😌

Nazaru-kun, I could NEVER work in Japan. When it's time to go home and I stop getting PAID money when I'm AT work? Just hell no! ✋🏻🤚🏻 🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦
yeeeeee this white man is living the weeb life! x3

Depends from your work, if it’s an English teacher, then no problems probably
Presumably it depends on where you live?

Do you have a girlfriend in Japan?
