Just have to add, as I believe I made a bit of a mistake in this video. I feel like when I moved the ssd from my OG ps5 to my slim I didn't have to reinstall my games, but I believe I stand corrected. Im sure I was right but apparently not! we all make mistakes! so yeah, might have to forget that part! I will try this again though on ps5 pro when I move it! and we will do it on camera but yeah! thanks for understanding!
I didn’t think this would work, when I tried this on PS4 to PS4 Pro it said the drive has to be formatted again before use in the new PS
I've had my 65" Sony X90K for nearly 3 years now. 120Hz plus VRR - so I guess I'll survive when I get my Pro.
Its not only wireless, you can connect an ethernet wire between the 2 consoles just like we did with ps4 to ps5. No need to spend extra money on extra storage no reason
Bought a 👽 4k 32" OLED last night. Blew my mind how nice it looks compared to my old 24" 1080p TN panel I've been using the last 4 years on ps5. If you really want the best experience, spend the money on these stupid fancy OLEDS. It's worth the price gouge. I tried both samsung and lg monitors around the 500$ price range and they were shite in comparisson. I imagine it will look much nicer with the pro as well!!! Really excited.

Straight game changer, even myself going from a Samsung QLED 2017 to a 2022 Samsung OLED the difference to this day is still insane

I brought the PS5 Pro with the external discdrive from the playstation store without any problems. The external discdrive was in stock and normal price. On the current PS5 I am running the PS5 games on the internal SSD (Samsung 980 Evo) and the PS4 games on the external SSD drive (Samsung 870 Evo). Digital foundry made a video about it.
And I have Sony 4K tv that supports HDMI 2.1 with 120HZ and VRR.
I’m hyped and ready: 5TB HDD and 2TB m.2 SSD in hand.

Great advice but be mindful that saved game files (your progression in each game) are stored separately to the game download so I also joined PS+ (Extras) and copied my save files to the PS cloud which I can download to the PS5 Pro directly. I've stored all my game downloads on a WD Black SN850 to switch over to the Pro then I will add the save files from my PS cloud.
I have the Sony X85 50" 4K TV with all of the HDMI 2.1 features (120hz, ALLM, HDR10 and VRR). I'm also keeping my DualSense Edge controller, charging station and already have the disk drive and vertical stand in sealed boxes. For audio I have the IfI audio zen DAC/AMP stack with the Audeze LCD-GX headset. Just waiting for Sony to confirm if the PS5 Slim covers will fit on the Pro.
It's truly astonishing how people think $700 for a PS5 pro is a lot.
Yet to spend $200 on a simple controller.
They'll spend $150 just on an upgraded and nvME drive.
On PC will spend $2,000 on the graphics card alone.
It's only a handful of games at the end of the day. The consoles themselves are dirt cheap
I have the 77” LG C1 OLED. Will that be good enough to take advantage of all the ps5 pro features? Or do I need to upgrade my tv?

Now that I'll have an extra PS5 in my house, do you have tips on how to take advantage of having two console at once?
There isn't a lot really, the only thing you can do is have one for a desk setup and one for a TV setup. Or you can sell both and then get the ps5 pro!
I have a 43" 4k60 Vizio V Series TV from 2019 it still works fine not going to upgrade and yeah I'ma most likely download one game at a time and just play that one game no need to download 20 games all at once
i order a ps5 pro, so excited to get it. it costed me 906 USD (incl. taxes) / Bought it from Saudi Arabia
I'm excited for the upgrade and don't have a 4k TV. Being able to have stable framerates with some of the most demanding games along with no visible blur and 2tb jump from the 600gb of storage is all that I care about. Can I also just plug my 5tb HDD from the og PS5 to the pro when transferring games or is that locked to having to format and redownload?
Can't afford it, but already have the base PS5 and it runs great.
Can't wait to play my ps5 pro. I have a 4k lg oled that can do 120hz. However I'm only interested in 4k ray tracing 60fps gameplay. So if your like me I wouldn't recommend going for a hdmi 2.1. As can Only play 1440p or 1080p. Without Ray tracing. So no need. Save that extra money. As long as you have a 4k oled. Your perfectly fine for the next 4 years at least. Until playstation 6 comes out. Which may push the bar to allow us to get 120fp at 4k. At over 140hrz. 140hrz is is the current limit of current gen tvs.
No, you do need HDMI 2.1
That’s exactly what you need in order for the PS5/ PS5 Pro to send a full proper signal to the TV.
Not all 4K TV’s have HDMI 2.1 inputs so you do need to make sure you pick a TV that has them.
Ideally, for gaming, you need to make sure your TV has HDMI 2.1 ports, and supports 120hz or 144hz VRR.
In order to benefit from the PS5’s VRR, ALLM, 120hz and all other premium features of the console’s video settings, you will need a TV that has HDMI 2.1
Not only that, but you’ll also need a ultra high speed HDMI cable.
The one that comes with the console is suitable, but I’d recommend getting a high end HDMI cable.
@rashman9579 jus double checked my tv's stats. They got all of that. Jus need my PS5 Pro. Also I was told the PS5 HDMI cord was more than enough. Upgrading makes a real difference?
@@S1MONPHOEN1X good that you have a compatible TV 👍🏼. The HDMI cable that come with the console is fine. It will work as intended. I just like to use my own. If you do get another one, make sure it is a “certified” ultra high speed HDMI cable. 👍🏼
Again this is incorrect. Playstation does not do native 4k 120hz. It does 1080p and 1440p 120hz. You don't need hdmi 2. 1for that. If you want vrr and alm yes you need hdmi 2.1. But then you lose a lot of the graphical enhancements when you go up in refresh rate. The main objective of the playstation pro. Is to provide 4k at 60fps gaming. So there is no longer a sacrifice by hedging to choose quality mode 4k 30 fps and performance mode 1080p to1440p then dynamically scaled to reach 4k looking graphics. The base Ps5 already provides 120hz. Vrr alm etc... That is not the objective of the pro@@rashman9579

What u say in the 1st 2min im honestly not sure if ur r right to be honest im sure its BS. Cuz the Information i have is when u have a internal ssd in the OG ps5 and u put that out and u put it in to ur new ps5 pro all the stuff on it will be gone cuz its a new System and it will start to formatating it. That was allways the case since ps3. So i bought a extarnal hdd 2tb to save everything from my internal ssd on it and than i will Transfer it to the ps5 pro.....
Btw, do you guys think their will be a "pro enhancement" patch for Silent Hill 2 remake by the time the Pro comes out 🤔 I dont think its on the list of 65 games that came out, if i'm correct ... also, still weird CyberPunk is not on the list 👀

Since August any new game released for ps5 has to have ps5 pro enhancements to pass sonys verification system

I recommend the TCL QM8 75”, the TV is literally a Game Changer! Make sure you have HDMI 2.1b Cable. The Pro might only come with the 2.1a Cable.

No it won't format it. I moved mine to my slim recently to test this and didnt format it! so should be all good for the pro buddy!

no, if you transfer them to an internal ssd on the current ps5, you won't need to move them from the old one. the games will all be on the SSD
So, question, when I unplug the internal SSD full of games from regular PS5, and the plug into the new PS5 pro, the system in pro wouldn’t ask to format that SSD?
Ur right it will ask exactly that he' s talking Bs u need to save it bevor on a external ssd or hdd i bought the Seagate hdd 2tb wich is ps4 and ps5 supported...
It will format the drive. It is only external ssd that won't require a format so you can store your game on the external and then copy them back effortlessly on the ps5 pro.
WD Black 8TB NVME plus a 4TB external Samusng SSD is what I have.

I have a 4k tv but on 60hz but for some reason my hdr 10 bugs out when I turn it on the Xbox series x every time I open up a game or close it the screen flickers into a black screen and then normal screen

I already have a PC. and you are comparing completely different things. None of the stuff you named there are essential for this system. Already has an ssd inside and the disc drive is not required. just like how it isn't on PC.
