Help Shaik Ashraf's family who was cheated and got stuck up in an unknown location between Thailand, Myanmar & Cambodia:
This is to state that one Shaik Ashraf resident of H No: 9-3-58/B/124/AK/99, Afsar Khan Colony, Langar House, Golconda, Hyderabad, Telangana State holder of Passport No: R2088006 who went to Dubai, UAE during Aug 2023 but could not find any job there. He was lured by a Chinese Travel Agency who promised a job in IT Company in Thailand.
On 29th Aug 2024 he went from Dubai to Bangkok, Thailand where he was received by another agent and taken to Mae Sot in Thailand and from there was received by another agent and taken in a boat towards Myanmar and then to an unknown location and being asked to do scam work.
If he is unable to do the said scam work he is being tortured to third degree and was being asked to pay 5000 US Dollars to release him. There was no action by Indian Embassy in Thailand, Indian Embassy in Myanmar and Indian Embassy in Cambodia to rescue him even after my letter Dated: 15th Nov 2024.
The persons under whose captive Shaik Ashraf is where torturing him with third degrees and giving him electric shocks and demanding 5000 US Dollars. His family is very poor unable to send that money but somehow his wife Jabeen Sultana took money on Interest and sent Rs/ 3,50,000 ie 3400 US Dollars and very sad to say that the Indian Government is least bothered on this issue and en-number of youths who got trapped has been stuck up and being tortured to third degree. He was released and after entering Thailand he was arrested by Police and sent to Jail.
After six months he was trapped and after three months of my complaint we received an email from Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India that Shaik Ashraf is in custody of Thailand Police and no assurance has bee given to rescue him. Kindly ask the Indian Embassy in Thailand to rescue him and bring back home as soon as possible.
