No worries about the sound - it was fine! Glad you're back home safely.

Awesome, thank you! It wasn't as bad as I suspected when I first filmed it, but it was a bit annoying. I'm glad it wasn't bad for you!

I love that you talked about pre-empty nest counseling. I have already had conversations with my counselor, doctor and husband about this and we will do sessions together as well. My daughter will be a senior too and I’ve been homeschooling her since day one.

I've been homeschooling mine the whole time too, and he's the baby and it's his senior year. We will make it through this time, but it's going to be harder than I was expecting.

@@TheReadingandWritingLife I agree, it is going to be harder than expected. I already have my empty nest dog because I wanted him trained and established before she graduated. I have already said that I am taking next July for me to give myself time to feel all the feels. She is our only.

Impressive reading! I was so excited for Leather and Lark and now I keep hearing not great things. I'm still planning on reading it but I'm glad I was warned it wasn't as good as Butcher and Blackbird so I'm not disappointed.

I just keep thinking that Butcher and Blackbird was so new and unique to me that I just had to love it. And Leather and Lark has a better storyline (for me) and better romance tropes (for me), and it was still just good and not OMG WONDERFUL!! ;)

I love the Off-Campus series. It has 5 books, technically, but apparently, you should read the 1st 4, then read the Briar U series. After Briar U, go back and read Legacy. Then read the newest series which starts with The Graham Effect. I also love Nicholas Sparks. Also, today, Thursday is Stuff Your Kindle Day (with Romance). -Emily.

Wow... I've gone way out of order with them then. I've read the Briar U series (or at least some of them), and I've read The Graham Effect already! :) I clearly need to make a list of them and make sure I grab the ones I've missed.

FYI: The Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver is set in Canada. I can't believe you've finished the series all in one weekend! I'm on book 4 I think.

I realized when I was entering the info for it that it was set in Canada. I really enjoyed it and then I started another one of her series yesterday! :)
