- #auroville #aurovillecommunity #aurovillediaries #aurovilleindia #aurovillelife #aurovillepondicherry This is the second part of our Auroville experience. We stayed for eight days inside Auroville in different guesthouses and explored each and every corner of Auroville,. In this video, we visit the Auroville beach, eat at Auroville Bakery & Cafe. We visited the Tibetan Pavilion and 2 organic farms, the Sustenance farms and the Solitude Farms. We also visited a pottery studio and Pitanga, the Auroville yoga centre.
Every village in India must aim to be like Auroville.
Can't agree more.
Thanks Madam 🤝💐🤝
Thank you for making the vlogs on Auroville. I had only heard about it, but thanks to you, I've seen it in your vlog and now aspire to make an actual visit. ❤
That's so nice of you to say. Really motivates us. We try to show you guys a place as you would see it. Do visit Auroville, believe me video can't do justice to that place!

Beautiful video with natural beauty 💗💗
Thank you so much!
Beautiful video
Thanks ❤️
Thank you for showing us around. However, I missed the locals 'real life' of Aurovile. This has more the feel of a tourist visiting without penetrating what life is really like there. And I miss prices for guesthouses, meals, and activities.
Thanks for watching our video. We were there as tourists, you are right. And we would have also liked to penetrative more, as you say, but we didn't want to be in the way of people going about their business. Guess had we been there for more days what you say would have been possible. Regarding the prices of guesthouses as we have said in this forum, they vary season to season and also rates vary for guests who come more often, so its better to check the prices online. You are right we could not mention about all the activities which go on at various establishments within Auroville at the same time.
Please tell the room rate per day, only couple can stay or single person can stay there?
Thanks for appreciating our video. Anyone can stay in the guest houses in the Auroville. Although there is a mess only for women too. Regarding the room rents, as we mentioned earlier, the vary from season to season and you can find out all the information online.
so how does one get to stay there permanently?
@the_good_citizen one has to become an Aurovillean. There is a whole procedure to do that. Takes a year atleast.
@@happygotravelers Procedure available to see anywhere?
Ofcourse you can see it all online.
One has to volunteer for a year atleast..details are available online
@@the_good_citizen You can also visit The Aurobindo Society office to get info
This video is still incomplete to me as there's no information regarding price for visitors stay and those who're looking to settle here as a resident itself with a detailed procedure and proper contact details, especially for people who're non residents of tamil nadu and willing to settle down, I hope you either make a proper detailed video or mention all the relevant information will be helpful for everyone, 🙏
Thanks for watching our video. Mind you we are making a travel video of our experience in Auroville and along with it we try to share information . We are not making a documentary on Auroville with all the information you have mentioned. If you are interested in that kind of information, its all available on the Net, all you have to do is Google it.
We are going to Establish a village at western orissa With Colabration with SAMPARK Foundation and Devotees of SriMaa and Sriaurobindo
Wish you all the best in your endeavour.
How to book the accommodation in aurovil
Accomodation options inside Auroville can be booked online. Better hurry up, rush would have started.
this is best auoroville vlog till now i have seen, can you share you itinery i will be travelling with my husban and kid who is special needs he loves traveling is your friend local guide can we contact her is there any information, i liked the place where you eent outside autoville too
Thanks a ton for appreciating 😍 You don't need a guide at all. If you wish to stay inside Auroville, as we did, make a booking in any of the Auroville guesthouses online thru the Auroville website. Best to have a relaxed stay in Auroville .
@@happygotravelers thank you very much what I understood is you can maximum stay for 2 days in each guest house so that’s why you shifted to different guest house within auroville , even we want to stay for more days there so when is good time to visit and how many days before we should book , what season you went
You can stay for as long as you want..we moved as we had not prebooked and all the guesthouses were full. December, January is peak season. A month or two in advance should be ok.
How can we stay here? Can we book the rooms online?
Can we buy a house here?
Yes, you can book the guesthouses in Auroville online. Infact right now they won't be much rush. Avoid the December- February period.
I don't think you can buy a house within the campus of Auroville but there are houses available close to the campus.
@@happygotravelers so who owns the existing houses in Auroville and how were THEY able to purchase? Can we get any on rent?
@the_good_citizen One can book a room in any of the guesthouses. Online booking is available. The houses are of Aurovilleans. No one owns the property, the houses go back to the Auroville trust after one dies.
