Damn man, busted knuckles, bled for us and everything. Thanks a boatload, every other video is on fancy stands or some special gizmo involved... I got a bucket and nice set of spoons, now I'm ready to try my first tire change.👍
I don't know why I am obsessed with tire changing Videos lol I don't even have a dirt bike. Although when I had my KLR I used to the zip tie method to change the tires. This ensures that both beads are down in the well and you pry them both off together
quick and dirty yet very thorough. nice that you sprinkled in the powder so the tube will settle in and not chafe. thank you hoss for not drowning the video in "music." i am going to nominate you for the tutorial hall of fame!
I can't say I've experienced any spoke bending ever during a tire change. I go pretty slow and take small bites so usually not much tension on rim or spokes.
When they seem glued to the rim just use your tire spoon carefully pry down under the bead right at a knobby and help push it down. Sometimes ya have to pick 3 different spots to pry on.
To get all of the air out. Much easier with a tube that is completely drained. Put the valve back in when completely empty to prevent air from bellowing back in.
Can't get bored if you're interested in learning! Thanks for sharing knowledge.

Nice clear instructional video! Good for us new DB riders!
If the tool was more lengthy the work was more easy.
Wow very clear and precise. Was going to buy a wheel changer. Think will invest in some tire paste and try that! Great help
it would have been Easier if you applied some soap oil or grease.
your faster than the dude with the 400 dollar tire changer
I felt pressured to perform haha so people won't get bored. Thanks :)
Great job. I'm saving this video
would it be easier to get that tube in there with a bit of air in it
I really like you video, make me learn and happy.
Real man's tire change video. Not the clean, shop version with all the expensive tools working on a skinny front tire!
Thank you Thank you!! We love to help.
Yeah!!
I do the same thing!
I put about 6 inches of concrete, in the bottom of my bucket so it doesn't slide around, and is more stable.
That, is a fantastic idea!!!
Good job attempting to change my rear tube on crf 450x
Nice, good job, good luck from Indonesia
I like the bucket idea
Yes sir cheap and yo can find them everywhere :)
Sweet. Thanks. You're good at this.
I have had a little practice over the 40 years of riding :):):) I hope youre having a great summer!!
Spot on , fantastic video.
Many thanks! I love to help.
Awesome vid bud. Still not as good as you but your tips make it able to do.
Practice and patience buddy 👍
old skool. nice job.
Thank ya very much! :)
Good job sir, thanks.
Welcome! 👍💪
Great vid. Thanks
Very welcome
Excellent video. Only thing i would like to know is which side of the urine do you use?
Urine?? Not sure maybe both :)
just curious but have you ever had issues with bending spokes using a bucket
I can't say I've experienced any spoke bending ever during a tire change. I go pretty slow and take small bites so usually not much tension on rim or spokes.
Great video! Now show us how to do a mini!!
I'm on it. Minis are the toughest but still very doable buddy.
Amazing 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😊
Dont both sides of tire have to be in drop center? Because if not the opposite side is still on shoulder i try to squeeze bottom and top at dame time
We do one side at a time but yes you sure can squeeze both sides in there. It takes a little more strength that way. :)
Great video, only thing i'd add is using some rim protectors if you care about your finish!
Every time I do this, I keep putting a hole in my tooth. What am I doing wrong?
Tooth?
I only have a 4 gallon and 6 gallon bucket..
:) :) :)
Do it that quick ona 10”er.
10" are tough no doubt. :) we do 50 or so a year. They take the same technique just a lot slower with way more lube.
Or, do it that quick on an old tyre that is glued to the rim 😂
When they seem glued to the rim just use your tire spoon carefully pry down under the bead right at a knobby and help push it down. Sometimes ya have to pick 3 different spots to pry on.
I can’t get my tire started on the wheel
Hook the lip on the rim lock to help keep it in place buddy.
@@bud176 I figured it out 7 months ago 😂 thanks
I can not even get the first step done
You can do it!! You can do it all night LOOOng :) :) It takes a little practice and patience buddy.
@@bud176 I figured it out. It turns out I was fighting a tu-bliss system that I didn't know was installed since it was a mystery bike.
@he478 those are a completely different animal. Glad you got it straightened out. Now we can go ride!!
Очень не профессионально
Долго, падьцы все ободраны. Надо подучиться
Or you could just use a proper tool. Why put yourself through this?
This is just an option for affordability buddy. We have a changing stand as well. I just wanted to show some options. :)
Why take out the core of the stem ??
To get all of the air out. Much easier with a tube that is completely drained. Put the valve back in when completely empty to prevent air from bellowing back in.
Exactly sir
