i just got into the tcg seriously about a year ago, going to my weekly locals for the first time sometime around november 2023, and i really think i came in at such a great time. ive loved all the variety in the meta! people will complain about certain decks being so common (charizard ex, regidraco vstar, etc), but theres still just so many viable decks out there! after getting trounced a couple times with some janky houndstone ex deck id thrown together w the few cards i owned, i built my first "real" deck from a chien-pao ex premade that i slowly improved with new cards week after week, and ended up playing that for like... 10 months before deciding to build a meowscarada ex deck and playing that for a couple months... then after getting tired of losing so much, i just built gardevoir ex a few days ago and played it at locals for the 1st time yesterday, which was fun! anyway, i love this game so much. im so glad that i opened an email from pokemon center on a whim and, after perusing the entirety of 151's card list, broke down and was like "okay FINE I'll start collecting/playing again!" after having not touched the hobby since like. 2007.
Thank you for briefly covering Greninja BREAK 🙏 I've played pokemon TCG as long as I can remember but I started playing competitively this year- younger me built Greninja BREAK because it seemed fun, I have lots of hope for Greninja-ex because it seems like a spiritual successor
I like your content but I have some honest criticism to share. Your thumbnails are lazy, repetitive, boring and are hard to tell at a glance the differences between your videos.
