Stagger is same as stun in Gundam versus game series and Gundam Battle Operation game where sometimes the mobile suit falls off, most AC game players may not know much and may be surprised

When armored core 6 was launched everyone kept saying "oh it's a soulsborne game . The tutorial bosses like margitt and the HC helicopter kept filtering players. As someone who's played elden ring after armored core 6, I can wholeheartedly say that it's not a soulsborne game, it is every bit an armored core as it can get.
Functions like assault boost, quick boost and expansion made it so much adrenaline pumped, souls games doesn't offer that utilities, you have to git gud, panik roll and all that sorts of stuff.
Both series will make you struggle on NG but on NG+ and beyond you'll be cheesing bosses.
In my eyes both armored core 6 and elden ring have reached their peak regarding their respective genres.
I also like how they based off the story from dune.
Like spice the coral has that enigmatic ability to change the destinies of the character involved in the story, like the reveal trailer gave off this certain eerie enigmatic vibe when the fires of Ibis cutscene played.
Overall this is a must play game.

Reached their peak? Ma G fromsoftware are always driven to better themselves and with what Miyazaki said recently as well is a clear indication that he and his team are not done yet on delivering masterpieces

I do think the stagger system could use a rework, instead od a full stop it disables the boosters forcing the AC to walk so there's a chance to dodge some damage say from a missle volley launched just before the stagger happens but I can see where that would also get annoying. Still food for thought

    • @jimboanimations4041
      @jimboanimations4041 3 місяці тому

Perhaps, though I think what would help more is if it was just a bit harder to trigger staggers as well. It would be cool if there was a way to brace against impact or lower your ACS. One thing that comes to mind is a "reboot" function that you can activate to quickly remove built-up ACS overtime, at the cost of lowering your shields and making you take direct hits from enemy fire. You'd have a much harder time actually being staggered while rebooting (still possible, but unlikely), but at the cost of still being made vulnerable to attack and having to play much more defensively.
I like this method in specific as it causes weapons that rely on direct hits to not be nerfed by simply increasing the amount of ACS build-up needed to stagger, and it adds another layer of management that players can master overtime.

I've kept up with your channel for a few days, grats on the 1k mark lol. I got it on summer sale, so I've been grinding through my first playthrough in ch4. I haven't played an AC since 2, but coming off from some clones like Daemon X Machina and M.A.S.S. Builder had me right at home on the controls. A "lifestream" story seems off-beat for the series' lineage, but they executed it maturely.
Some of those missions are like straight-up being in a blockbuster movie. The Ice Worm fight is one my favorite moments in gaming now lol.

2,333.6 hours here. I obviously think very highly of the game. It takes a small fraction of that to 100% the game, so why do I keep playing? I'm in love.

This game is absolutely amazing and it's definitely my game of the year for 2023. But I do feel that the one issue was mainly how multiplayer and online just felt like an afterthought. And balance is still pretty rough. Like Light ACs have it pretty rough in PVP right now. I mean you can still win but it's a bit uphill against tanky builds. It's a shame though because I also think this game would be amazing if you could do Online Coop with friends in the campaign missions.
Anyway really hope FromSoft is working on the next Armored Core with Shadow of Erdtree released. Whether it's a DLC or a new game I'm definitely in.

@@centuronstar8688 well. Good news is FromSoftware has stated that they will be releasing games with more coop in mind so. The next installment should have it without mods. But if your on PC there is a mod that allows it called the Armored Core Coop mod(but warning, you are always at risk of an invader in that mod... And it could be me).

I hope Mecha games like Another Century appears in all languages version PS5, steam, and XBOX. Oh yeah, since Macross series appear publicly international, I also hope ArtDink studio and FromSoftware work together to create a Macross game like Macross 30, cross-over-ing all Macross series from the original to Macross Delta

999 hours clocked here. I really want to see a co-op endless survival horde mode gamemode for multiplayer.
also I think AC6 could easily implement tuning in the form of adjusting the balance between 3 choice numbers in each body part - like for arms for example, you could tune the balance between the recoil control, firearm specialization and melee specialization... or even sacrifice a little bit of each to reduce EN load. core parts could tune the balance of booster/gen.output/gen.supply. and so on. just allow the player to manually rebalance a few choice metrics, and that will go a long way for machine customization.
and yes I do want generator tuning as well.
As for the ACS strain and stability mechanics - I find them frustrating. I manage to destabilize an enemy AC, but when i swap to a melee weapon and swing it at the target, it's already recovered and evaded my melee attack??? EXCUSE ME WHAT?
i'll gladly take halving the impact value of all weapons if it means ACS destabilization lasts just 2 seconds longer.
and for the love of all that is good in this world, will it kill them to pull the camera out of the robot's ass? LET ME SEE WHERE I'M GOING

    CORE: MELANDER
    LEGS: MELANDER C3
    ARMS: MELANDER
    L/R ARMS: LASER RIFLES
    L/R BACKS: LCD CANNONS
GENERATOR: VP20C/VP20D (fastest EN recovery and largest EN supply)
    FCS: TALBOT
    BOOSTER: GRIDWALKER/MULE
    EXPANSION: PULSE ARMOR
Build 2: ZGMF-1027M Duel Blitz Gundam
    Head: ALBA
    Core: ALBA
    Arms: MELANDER C3
    Legs: ALBA/MELANDER C3
L Weapon: Alternate between HMMR and Laser Blade
R Weapon: Alternate between Viento and Laser Rifle
L Back: Alternate between Trueno, HMMR and Laser Blade
R Back: Alternate between Trueno, Viento and Laser Rifle

With the release of the Duel Blitz and Lighting Buster HG kits, I thought maybe these simple cosplay builds would be fun.
I encourage you to try and alternate between loadouts between matches for the Duel Blitz - there's just a variety of weapons. Also tried not making it a BVO meta build.
Have fun, and win with th3se off meta builds.
    Love,
    Tec-9

I can't speak for PvP since I've never done it. But everything else I'd agree with. Except customization. Literally sucks compared to 3rd gen which had 100's of parts. But 6 is the best one since Nexus & beats that one out. But Silent Line is still my all time favorite AC.

    • @spamhere1123

Eh, I'm going to disagree on the idea that more parts = better. AC6 was clearly streamlined compared to previous generations, and that worked out very, very well for Fromsoft. Many people had never heard of Armored Core before this game, despite it being one of their earliest and most numerous works.
      Why?
Because previous games were extremely hit and miss, niche, overly complex in parts, undercooked in others...overall, none of the previous Armored Core games gained a good following. Sure, almost any game can find a small crowd of die-hard fans, but that's not "success" by most definitions.
AC6 was, in contrast, an extremely polished and well-rounded game (at least for the PvE). Difficulty, complexity, variety, all these things struck a good balance that the series never attained before, enough to satisfy most Armored Core fans, and not too much to overwhelm more casual newcomers. More "things" simply isn't better, and AC6 understood that.

    Pvp balance/netcode
    The good
    All the rest
(p.s. you don't need to S rank missions and they did not give rewards for that reason, to not make player suffer a grind they do not want so for me it's not a nono)
