these poor folks... LA has gotten battered repeatedly the last 10 years or so... this year, the storms haven't hit any large cities so those impacted have "fallen out of the news cycle" very quickly... as a result, they haven't gotten the help that big populated areas might have... and NO, it doesn't make them TOUGHER... it just makes them poorer...

    • @hatchertiger
      @hatchertiger 3 роки тому

In south LA we stick together, neighbors helping neighbors. We don't wait on the government to come and "rescue" us. We rely on ourselves instead. Good old fashioned Cajun ingenuity. Money isn't everything. God, family and country, that is what is important in life. Google the CAJUN NAVY and see how we reach out to help others as well. I wouldn't leave south Louisiana for anything, it IS God's country.

Watched most of this live, and was riveted. More than once I thought, "This is it, they're screwed, no way they're getting out of this." But thank goodness, you made it through with some incredible footage and tales to tell. When you were on the ramp and sent the drone up I thought to myself, "I can't wait to see what it records." And here it is, less than 24 hours later. Nice! Too bad the highlight reel didn't include the gators or the microwave, though. ;)

Automobile have an efficiency of around 30 percent
That means 70 percent of gasoline goes to waste as HEAT and WATER VAPOR
Electric plants are also 30 percent efficient
That means for every 100 gallons of oil burned
we get 30 gallons of electricity
Our home appliances are also around 30 efficient
So of those 30 gallons of electricity that we receive we use 30 percent of that
And that comes to 9 gallons
So for every 9 gallons of oil that we use they have to burn 100 gallons
But I'm Mexican so you don't have believe anything I say

Praying for all who lost family, friends, homes, businesses, animals, etc., during these devastating end times. Praying for God's mercy on all! Revelation 1:7, "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.
Isaiah 29:6, "Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire." Jeremiah 10:12-13, "He hath made the earth by his power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, And hath stretched out the heavens by His discretion. When He uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, And He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings with rain, And bringeth forth the wind out of His treasures."
Nahum 1:3, "The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked: The LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet."
Psalms 148:8, "Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling His word:"
Luke 21:11, "And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven".
Mark 13:8, "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows."
Revelation 16:18, "And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great."
Isaiah 13:13, "Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger."
Matthew 24:4-8, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Revelation 14:7, " Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power;"

The problem is perpetual profit. Not cost of material, construction and design. Therefore a do it yourself remedy is necessary. One that renders architecture and engineering disciplines useless. Which seems to be the results of most recent and current projects. If humanity is to survive we must abandon monetary value systems. Then you'll see progress on the edge of human imagine. Houses that withstand a category 5 hurricane, that won't burn, that maintain a constant temperature and flood resistant. It will be done...
