In this video, I will show you how to make your own iron-on fabric patches using your Cricut, faux suede, fabric and vinyl. This is a great way to personalize your clothes, backpacks, or other belongings. You can use any design you like, and you can even create your own custom designs using the Cricut Design Space software.
Here are the materials you will need:
Faux suede fabric
Vinyl
Other fabric of choice
Iron on adhesive (Wonder Under 825)
Cricut cutting machine
Cricut Design Space software
Fabric grip cutting mat
Fine point blade/Rotary Blade

How are you keeping the vinyl from melting if it's not htv when you press the patch
Great question! You can adhere the patch with the iron without melting the patch one of two ways. 1. Cover the patch with cloth and iron over the patch. The cloth will act as a barrier. The second way is to iron around the vinyl. Using a mini-heat press helps with this as it is small and can get around the wording. Another best practice is to warm up the area on the fabric where the patch is going to be adhered. Doing this will start the adhesive action. You can always use HTV for the top layer wording as well.
Never heard of wonder under or A-25?
Where can I buy it??
Thx
I want to patch a tent my dog chewed up.
Any craft store that sells fabric should have it.
