In modern days short is not for killing any living things. Roseth and Dejo make a sword just for showing and for using it as something useful like for cutting trees or fire woods. Some times using it is easier and more comfortable than using a knife.

Like this one spending around 4 hours
I just couldn't pay money for something that possibly hasn't been heat treated properly and has a false edge on it. But I guess all blacksmiths have to start somewhere. And I can only imagine how hard it would be just teaching yourself all that you need to know to be a Smithy. I think he'll be a great weaponsmith after a few years making things are under his belt.
