- Today, we do a full tour of one of the best car collections in the world! Anne Brockinton Lee was born in Charleston, South Carolina and later relocated to Reno, Nevada where she reigns over one of the most prestigious classic car collections on the globe. Since the passing of her husband, Bob Lee In 2016, Anne has singlehandedly curated the Robert M. Lee Automobile Collection of over 200 exceptional automobiles, including four Pebble Beach Best of Show cars. The collection includes everything from the Lancia to Maserati, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Hispano-Suiza, Cadillac, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Duesenberg, Ferrari and Horch. Anne continues to add to the collection focusing on one-offs, coach-built cars, and cars that reflect the ideal combination of design, provenance and beauty.

This is insane
The best part are the german roadsters. It reminds me of a Wanderer Laundalet I saw on the Baroque museum in Puebla and thought to myself: Hmm, I wonder who was the first owner *wink wink*.
This is DISGUSTING, what grotesque hoarding of wealth. You think b4 he died he could have instructed her to sell every car & donate the money to families overseas who can't afford food 4 their kids. Just greedy till the end i guess. Oh & i love how he was described as "helping african wild animals survival" yet he owns hunting world & slaughtered all those animals on his walls, not for survival but as a freakin hobby. Ah yes everything that's wrong with the world under one roof.

This is quite emotional for me to see. When I was a child, I got a chance to go through those buildings and Harrah's collection. This feels like going back to that time and it's wonderful to see a wonderfully enthusiastic woman caring for this collection! This is exactly how I remember those buildings looking, the presentation is perfect! Thank you!!!!! I would hope to see this in person someday. I always wondered what happened to those buildings, this made my day!

That Horch and that Daimler are two of my all-time favorite Pebble Best of Show winners. I was overjoyed to see both of them there this year.

I went to Reno in 1981 and seen the Harrah’s collection, it was awesome. The 31 Daimler is spectacular.

Hopefully there are follow up segments to this to showcase the Alfa's, Ferrari's and more. Bob was a true enthusiast to compete with against at PB and always had a true passion for what he brought each year.

Thank you Anne! I saw the Harrah Collection in the early 1970's when the size was 2,000 cars and Bill had two Type 41 Bugatti Royales. It's encouraging to know that some of that magnificence still exists.

Ah how I remember my days working for Mr. Lee and Anne. Spent many hour wandering through the Collection while I was Art Director for Anne's and Mr. Lee's VLP Advertising. It was quite and experience. Hello Anne, it's been quite awhile now.

This is an amazing collection but as everyone here notes it was just skimmed over too briefly. I believe Mr. Lee's collection included Ferrari 0008, a 166 Barchette that Luigi Chinetti drove to win at Le Mans in 1949 and setting the company on its legendary way. The car is certainly the most valuable Ferrari in existence, which is saying something!

Those Rolls Royces are great! Even a Freestone & Webb one, my kind of collection. It’s funny seeing cars you’ve known for years from pictures and videos being in someone’s actual collection, like that Daimler, I saw old footage of it being rebuilt.
Wow, a lot of great cars (and apparently some motorcycles too?) Would like to have seen a lot more than was shown or talked about. Anne seems very cool and knowledgeable, I imagine we could hang out together and have some good conversations.

Some of Harrah’s collection remains in Reno at the National Automobile Museum. While not the 1200 car collection I enjoyed throughout my youth, it’s still a collection with amazing cars and well worth a visit.

Sold off byHoliday Inn when they bought the Harrahs casinos. These buildings are old railroad warehouses in Sparks Nevada not Reno.

Apparently, Bill Hurrah of Casino fame owned that space and had over 1200 cars there. What happened to his collection after he 'passed on'.
The collection was acquired by Holiday Inns when they bought the Harrahs hotels/casinos. They sold most of the collection and a small amount are in the automobile museum in downtown Reno. This collection here is in Sparks not Reno in old railroad warehouses where Bill Harrah had his collection .

I do wish these videos were longer/more ponderous, it’s my only gripe of this channel!!! Give us more B-roll! More footage, more angles, more features, more closeups, and take your time! I’m always pausing the videos. Really every car should be shown somewhat or else why go there?

Beautiful collection, but so sad to see the 100s of dead animals as trophies. I switched off when I realised what I was seeing.
Eye candy...and lots of it. I could spend a few hours walking those aisles! Lots of room around the cars so you can get many views of the same car from multiple angles.
As I always comment... what a shame that these cars are just sitting in a garage and not being enjoyed by someone on a regular basis and shown off truly to everyone. Put them on the road where they belong.

One of Bob Lee's business ventures was luxury goods maker Hunting World, Inc. He seems to have been a seriously dedicated hunter and "conservationist," although I suspect it was a bit like Ducks Unlimited: save the species so you have more to kill!
I am more shocked by all those beautiful animals killed to massage the ego of the collection's owner. Disgusting.
Tellement de belles voitures mais exposées avec un goût plus que douteux, toutes alignées comme des trophées et non comme des chefs-d'œuvre. Ça ressemble à un magasin de voiture et pas à un musée.
