Happy New Year, everybody! Sorry I wasn't active or replying to comments, I had to temporarily move to another country, and didn't have much time for UA-cam. I'm back at my place and have finally finished Mankind Divided this month, enjoyed it quite a lot, and wanted to make something in my usual style. There are a few low% runs for DXMD, including brilliant runs by Immersion Mode (ua-cam.com/video/X402bDtsI70/v-deo.html) and jelmeree (ua-cam.com/video/XHICWaTmDjc/v-deo.html). I wanted to push the concept a bit further by also adding "zero suspicions"/"no distractions" and "no damage" rules, while still going for maximum speed. I decided to break "no takedowns" rule in 2 instances to maintain stealth (so the run doesn't really qualify as Absolute Zero), but I think the end result is fun in its own right. The best parts of the run are: Ruzicka Station (12:26), ARC territory (21:51), Palisade Bank (41:56), Dvali theater (55:42), neutralizing the guards in Apex Centre (1:12:45), and a stealth takedown on the final boss (1:23:30). Enjoy!
In 2016 I was thinking: It would be really cool to see prenatual play this game...and here it actually is! Legendary pathfinding, in-depth knowledge of the game's (stealth) mechanics (running from cover to cover for example is very effective), virtually flawless gameplay and good humor when fooling around with the AI. I don't think it can be done better under the given rules, only two little notes: You can actually run silently without any augs by pressing and releasing the crouch key continuously while sprinting. Jumping forward while being crouched is also very fast (and silent), especially when you're out of stamina. And if you'd exclude the no suspicion rule, there's a funny and very fast way through ARC: Above the room with the security terminal and the two guards, there's a blue ball, that when thrown to a very specific location, will distract all soldiers guarding that area, giving you a free path to the vent.
Yeah, I know about crouch-sprint, but didn't want to abuse because it feels way too strong for this kind of run, where I'd prefer to minimize glitches/exploits (and it gives me a headache lol). I used bunny-hopping in a couple of places, though. It's nearly as fast and has more of a risk-reward to it, because if enemies see you jump that usually means instant detection and a restart for me, so I didn't feel as bad about using it. Loved your Ghost run for MD, by the way! Great stuff. It's currently the fastest stealth run for MD, if I'm not mistaken?
@@prenatual Thanks! I had no doubt that you knew about it, I just mentioned it because I haven't seen anyone using this technique yet. For a stealth run where every biocell counts (I finished my run with exactly 0) it's pretty useful. I honestly don't know about that, my only goal was to achieve pacifist, foxiest and ghost in under an hour (with segmentations). The next step would be a glitchless sub one hour run on I never asked for this, but that will be quite a challenge.
It's a shame how little recognition this game got, to this day I've never seen a triple A game with a lower pricetag than this one in stores, you could literally just buy this game with your lunch money which is exactly what I did
I remember my 2nd playthrough in this game. Hacking and stealing everything gives you so much resources, it's so much fun. Game just... feels like a great sandbox to fuck around in. And my favourite thing to do is to sit in the No-Augs Train Compartment
You profoundly influenced and enriched the way I approach "play" in all aspects of life, not just in video games. Your attention to detail, cleanliness of play, and your dedication to including humor (like at 1:16:00 in this video) has had such a huge impact on me. You are professional and playful, a beautiful contradiction. I hope you're doing well. I know they're just video games, but you've definitely inspired me in a broader way.
Damn, this is nothing short of ingenious! The precision and the amount of work you'd have put in to do this so perfectly is just shocking to me. Could I ask how many hours you'd got in the game before this playthrough?
Finally got around to watching, awesome work! Great use of the cover to cover mechanic and some sweet routes i didn't know about. Now i gotta actually play A Criminal Past so i can watch that run. Many thx for the mention in the pinned comment too!
I actually opened youtube tonight for an another walkthrough, but youtube knows my priorities. Your complete walkthrough takes less than my Dubai mission. But I don't dare to ask how much work has gone into making it look like this. Absolute respect
I was not expecting this, what a pleasant surprise, watched it straight away and the run was amazing. I can’t believe 5 years on that there are STILL things in this game, routes and different ways to do things, that I haven’t discovered or seen in any other videos before. Thank you so much for posting this it really made my day, and please consider posting any more runs you can of this game, maybe with alternate routes or other interesting finds. Thoroughly enjoyed it, more like this please 🙂👍 Skill beyond skill by the way…
That is one hell of an amazing feat. Having played this game about ten times, twice on "I Never Asked for This," I know what it takes to pull this off. Wow.
Rewatching this after a while (and just replayed the deus ex series) and that shortcut between marchenko and brown is game changing. I completely forgot it was there
I've juste redone Deus Ex: Human revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It's really nice to see an another style of gameplay, I like to do Ghost myself but I take way more time, explore and collect everything. Great to see an another pathfinding and helpful trick to learn for a ghost playthrough !
Very good job! Maybe someone already mentioned this, but A Criminal Past DLC might be worth a look, it's pretty interesting with a couple twists to the game mechanics.
@@prenatual If only an Absolute Zero run of Marvel's Avengers was possible eh? *What could've been for the next entry of Deus Ex on the ninth generation of consoles alongside the high-spec PCs though... :'(*
Hey great to see you back at Deus Ex. Your absolute zero/factory zero playthroughs of DXHR were great. I am honestly a bit shocked this was a 1 1/2 hour playthrough? This game was clearly too easy for you lol. Nice work.
The line where Miller says hurry tfu always bugs me .This was a perfect opportunity for the devs to write in to acknowledge the skill and speed to the player. Still love this game and hope the next one improves and without adding NFTs.

do you wanna play the Deus Ex DLCs?
@beatNgo1 Обещать надолго вперед не могу, но пара идеек еще есть :)
@@BB0ysGames Yeah, I'm gonna do a similar run for A Criminal Past.
Welcome home, Boss
Deus ex: the phanton pain
Your videos fundamentally changed how I gamed 6 years back. You set a new standard for me in performance and having fun.
Welcome back, King.
1:15:55 had me in tears. This is such a good run, Prenatual. You are amazing.

it's a shame because this game is simply incredible but also it's an easy sell these days
Single player microtransactions aside, I agree, I played through it and enjoyed it a ton. DLC included (A Criminal Past only)
@@Janfon1 i love that dlc wasn't even essential for the base game, it was just optional as any dlc should be

I’m so glad you’re back on UA-cam, your stealth gameplay is sublime and I want more
Nice to see that you are still around

Oh yeah, A Criminal Past is awesome. Easily my favorite piece of Deus Ex content after the first game. Shame they put the series on ice :(

This guy deserves more popularity
With a crappy end of year due to the pandemic, this is the Christmas present we all hoped for. Big Boss is back. Age hasn't slowed ya down one bit.
This game is 6 years old and could be sold as a PS5 next gen game. The graphics are stunning.
Oh my God, he's back! One of the best stealth players of all time.
Really Nice run Bro , Thanks for the vidéo
Yet another banger.
I love seeing uploads from this channel, i know i'm in for a good watch
I remember watching your Human Revolution video a bunch of times, glad to see you wound up tackling this game as well.
The legend has returned. Prenatual my man! It's good to see you back!
Very thanks to see you here again!
This is the video I've been waiting from you. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Welcome back, quietest runner.
Very good to see you back, I'm going to really enjoy this.

Prenatual back? ZAMN! 😍
Great to see you still at it, you legend!
Glad to see you back. 😁

Very nice , I like this kind of talent .
King is back
Rockin' the pucker factor on the stealth gauge. Good times.
I know hl2 is not a stealth game, but it’d be great watching you speedrun it your own way
Ah yes, the king has returned
WELCOME BACK!!! We missed you man
Immersion mode would be proud. 👏
Glad you’re finally back, man
the monarch of deus ex challenge rulesets is back!!
it seems like you had to do less wacky strategies in this one than you did in human revolution, did you find it easier as a challenge run than hr?
Return of the 👑
this game is for me an indicator of "what cyberpunk should be like"
The Stealth God has descended upon thee.
real CYBERPUNK game!
Awesome Job Man, ☮🖖
Whats up with garbage can before take down of final boss???
AMAZING RUN ::)))
i dont play this game.., but im glad to see you posting videos…
Oh crap what a great surprise!
I'm sqving that treat foe when I'll do a similar run myself

I just love your fucking work! How many hours did you spend before trying this Sir?
My first no augs/no weapons took about 8 hours. But that was after a 60+ hour playthrough, so I pretty much already knew what to do.
Fuck yeah welcome back man
It seems autor of the video knows every nook this game. Great run.
Very cool run, bravo!
now this is a challenge
well done
Wow you're back!
More than 5 years ago and it is better than a certain cyberpunk themed game released recently...
Thank you for uploading!
Remember, we did not have another Deus Ex because SE made Avengers.
Impressive gameplay. There's an easier and daster way up to Koller through a vent in the bathroom. But I guess you need high jump for that.
I'm back to this unreal run
Fighting the final boss with a rubbish bin? That is genius
