Whoaaaaa you're right... Maybe he could see the laughter inside of him that has been hidden away and that is why his painting came out more of an "expressionist" style of painting. That is a cool detail Thank you for pointing it out.

So glad that you put yourself in the shoes of the father when he walked away after seeing Ishaan reading the notice. Almost every reactor were shiting on the dad. We have to understand that, albeit cruel, the dad was never intentionally abusive. It all came from a place of ignorance about learning disabilities. Him walking away instead of approaching ishaan perfectly captures his first step to redemption- guilt

That is how we felt. I think both Miguel and I understood that it was the turmoil inside him that he has to deal with and understand. I never thought of him as a bad guy but rather a guy that thought he was doing what was best. Realizing his mistakes he needed time to cope with it. Or at least that's what we assumed.

This movie always make me cry .....i have watched it so many time but it still make me cry. The time this movie was made no one really know about dyslexia and treat it more like disability. Amir khan always choose such topic for movie to educate audience. In India the compitition is so high in education that sometimes its difficult for parents to understand and accept that their child need extra attention and care to cope up with other and they simply don't accept it which is clearly shown in this movie. Really loved that you choose it to react. ❤❤

the real painting of ishan was made by an artist from vishwa bharati university in shantiniketan west bengal, it is special because the university was established by rabindranath tagore, one of the most famous indians and asias first nobel prize winner..over the years many prominent personalities studied here.

Few fun facts : Amir Khan co directed this film for the first time
Also, he learnt painting just so that the brush strokes he makes should look like that of a professional artist.
He is called "Mr Perfectionist" or Indian Christian Bale.
For the movie Dangal, he gained 35 kgs of weight and also worked on 8 pack abs just for a 3second scene.. In my opinion he is far more superior and versatile than SRK... Just that he does not know how to market himself, and often says some blunt stuff without thinking much in his interviews..... Have a good watching of all Amir Khan's movies...And SRK 's Swades film is top notch

@@mitali.0_0 Its okay to hate him but atleast don't spread misinformation. Aamir Khan did have creative differences with Amole Gupte about how the story needs to be presented and hence he resumed as the director. Also he has given full credit to Amole Gupte. Check the credits of the movie and you will see Amole Gupte's name as the write and the creative director just before Aamir Khan is shown as the Producer and Director.

I think you missed a vital communication that the director made in that scene without any dialogues.
Nikumbh shifts his parents photo to keep that handmade boat. It signifies that Nikumbh keeps the boy on priority for which he moves his parents photo. Or he loves the boy as much as he loves his late parents.

I still remember, I was in 3rd grade or 4th grade, and one fine day everyone of us were taken to a nearby theatre to view the film. I always see myself in Ishaan. Im 28 now and only i know how i made it where i am. I was so close to ending everything at multiple points of life. I was bad at school, i used to get whacked around like crazy, i used to sketch pretty good, my sketches often got stolen from the classroom boards. But then i got sent away to boarding school and i never sketched again, and i still cannot. i met my own Nikumbh sir in some way. And finally discovered what i was good at and chose a career. Today im a filmmaker And I'm so happy Aamir khan made this movie. It's about time the world get's another film like this, and it is my goal to make something that makes people aware of the struggles of little children trying to understand and be understood. Taare Zameen Par was directed by Amol Gupte, who is an accomplished artist and I guess he also has someone in family (maybe son) who is having some deficiency. He didn't complete the film owing to creative differences with producer/actor Aamir Khan during the making. Aamir Khan completed the film and hence the formal credit for direction is given to Aamir Khan.
Thank you, yours was the best reaction I have seen so far!
I would like to recommend to you following movies:
    Hindi Movies:
Hum Aapke hain Koun! (1994) - a musical with family saga. You'll love it!
Lagaan: Aamir Khan's movie about a fictional story on a game of cricket with British
    Hindi web series:
Bandish Bandit - a musical love story...very well made and unique in this genre so far
Marathi language movies (already recommended in Part 1 comments):
    Vaalvi (2023) - a nice dark comedy
Katyar Kaaljaat Ghusli - a classical music feast and a nice story - amazing music
Sairaat - a musical dram and love story - amazing music

Being so young I off course didn't understand the complexity of the topic it was dealing with. Its amazing how I always come back to this movie and it never fails at making me cry, each time I find something new to ponder upon and hidden details that I missed. Thank you for watching along with us ☺️ Miguel is so thankful for the support. He really is very in touch with his emotions and feeling comfortable enough to be that open on camera takes a really innocent soul. Thank you for the kind words and I will pass them on to Miguel. ❤️😊

@@ChaatNChat that's how all humans should be. The society has made so many stereotypes that men cannot cry, men should be this and women should be that, it is ridiculous... Really glad to see that Miguel expresses his emotions fully. You also express yours but sometimes try to suppress it. We as humans should allow our emotions to flow and not hide them...

He got late at art festival because he was roaming around lake and mountains to get news ideas for his paintings, that's why he wake up early. Beautiful storytelling.

I can't put to words the kind impact this movie had.
This movie came when there was a huge stigma about mental health learning disabilities anything and everything and that's when this movie came out
I was still in school I guess probably 7th grade and I could see the difference mothers and parents coming to school to talk to counselors wondering if their kids had any learning disabilities
Honestly this movie had such a reset in the way parents treated children, of course it's still a very long way to go after all these years there is still so much more to do considering how competitive and education Focused society India is but this movie definitely had a huge impact on Indians

Teachers really can change a student's life, i hated maths didn't understand a simple thing till the 9th grade. During the 2nd term text got 33 marks and my mom force me to go to a tuition (literally 2 weeks before the next term test) got 75 for the 3rd test and even surpassed the 4th of the class and no one even believed that was my paper 😂. Since then my maths marks was always on 70+ level but was the 36/40 in class (cuz i got an average 50 for the other subjects). Idk but i consider myself lucky to always have the best teachers, and now i got the best boss 😅
