Many people thinks Indian movie means only "Slumdog Millionaire" but it was actually british propoganda movie. Now you guys started reacting to Real Indian movies.
I've been watching Indian movies since I was a kid with my Dada. Aa gale lag ja, Bobby, blackmail, Sholay. If you don't consider those Bollywood I don't know what is. As to the singing and dancing, a lot of modern Bollywood movies don't have those sign and dance numbers. However they were pretty much a staple in the classics.

Slumdog wasn't propaganda. The makers literally didn't have enough money to produce and finish the film. The storytelling and the movie itself was good and it won numerous awards. There are thousands of British movies set in Indian backdrops all didn't get the same recognition. Also it's kind of obnoxious that nowadays people have started thinking that everyone is having a propaganda or agenda against india. Come out of your bubble.

Many people even took screenshot of their posts which praised india and they were somehow removed by twitter. Specially around the recent trend what's wrong with india. There are so many people who are sharing Twitter's biasness. Even small channels or accounts with less than 10k audience get millions of views if they share anti indian stuff. Yet those who have 50K+ ,their audience didn't even get notification.There are podcasts, reports, people with their own experience with Twitter and youtuber shared these views numerous times.

It helps that I have an Indian family that adopted me in a way when I was younger. I am very close with my Dadaji and we watched old classic Bollywood all the time back when I lived in New Delhi with him. (He is the one that taught me Hindi)

Thank you. I think the big difference between me and the others is that I actually have roots in India. I lived there as a kid. I graduated High School in New Delhi and went for a semester in Noida. When I was younger an Indian family adopted me in a way, so I lived with them and learned Hindi very quickly. I have hoped people would understand what you have mentioned.
