- Bomsori'’s chosen repertoire reflects her desire to communicate with her audiences through her instrument’s expressive voice. “I’m not a loud person - I usually don’t talk much in everyday life,” she says. “But that’s why I love playing the violin, because I can speak and communicate through music. I’ve loved singing and ballet since I was a small child and am always moved by hearing voices and watching dancers. I wanted to bring that special spirit of poetry and drama to listeners through my instrument, which can sing freely in these wonderful pieces.” Enjoy her performance of Waxman's Carmen Fantasie accompanied by NFM Wrocław Philharmonic condcuted by Giancarlo Guerrero.

The light jingle sound she’s known for really brings this piece to life! Others sound a little too dry, even if technically refined.. she always seems to play with not such grounded in technique but a slight bit of improvisation always seems to be there..

While listening to "Violin on stage" I tried to imagine the interior of NFM. Now I see it and it seems to be what I thought it would be. I love the acoustic quality of the recording. A hall's importance in any recording is usually left without any explanation. This hall, to my ear, seems to have a lot of space and volume, yet it is nicely semi-dry, with precise, direct sound, not a lot of reverberation, just the way I like it. The burst of bass, on the other hand is really impressive and (probably) instigates the hall's resonant side, again just as I like it. All in all, to my ear, this recording has joined 2 opposite qualities: details are sharp and don't sink in reverbs, yet the reverbs are there when needed.
