- Go easy on me. This is the first engine that I will be putting together all by myself like a big boy.
Todays instalment of Cars With Friends I will show you the way I measured the cranks and block for bearing tolerances and how I installed the crank. I'm not saying this is the correct way. This is just the way I done it.
For a first rebuild your doing great mate!!!! My one recently developed a knock in acceleration after mapping so currently gone in for a rebuild, I wouldn't have the stones or Knowledge to do it . Bottom end bearing is what my mechanic reckons

Yeah we need to get back into it. Both Kyle and I have been mega busy with everyday life. I will try and film something over the next week and get one out.
When you tighten the main up you should check rotation after each cylinder so you can tell which bearing is binding just a tip great work
Didn't even think of that. thanks man. This is exactly why I'm building this engine first with standard parts so when I come to build my forged mx5 engine for the kp I know all the little tricks.
