This and “A Frozen Serenade” are my joint favourites…the live performances in particular. The other 48 share second place. Epilogue has been known to move me to tears. Asami has said that every time she sings a song (any song) she tries to sing it as if it’s her last ever performance. Never I’d that truer than in this performance. It’s why she’s my favourite band member (by a slender margin, but favourite nevertheless). Respect for the reaction too. This performance is deserving of the highest praise and respect.
From the album Clockwork Immortality “Epilogue” is the first metal song Asami has ever written. Miyako admitted that despite the few notes, it was the song that took the most takes to record her classical guitars for as the slightest mistake was noticeable
This song is a masterpiece. Those guitars sing and cry and it showcases Asami’s vocals. Some people say that Lovebites is a factory of masterpieces. By the way, it seems that the band is about to announce the new bass player.
The "e"-songs are all really great, "Epilogue", "Edge of the World" and "Empty Daydreams". Followed by the "f"-songs "Frozen Serenade" 😄🤘🏼 Ohh .. and finally somebody else who noticed the "Hotel California" reference 👍

On the other hand i was also shocked when somebody made a reaction to "Hotel California" and said he never heared that. Yeah .. the kids these days i guess. No clue about absolute classics. Recently it also came up that people for the first time ever hear "Sultans of Swing" from Dire Straits or "Comfortably Numb" from Pink Floyd. Oh and yesterday somebody for the first time watched "I will always love you" from Whitney and wondered what Kevin Costner did in that video, because he is an actor .. lol
