Bought the UM790 Pro barebones, added Crucial RAM 96GB Kit (2x48GB) DDR5 5600MT/s, fanxiang S880 4TB NVMe SSD M.2 2280 for Data, and fanxiang S880 2TB NVMe SSD M.2 2280 for Windows 11 and two or three different Linux versions. works perfectly, but I want to set aside 8 Ghz for video, it is now set to 2 Ghz. This is a wonderful system, thanks for telling us to buy the bare bones system.. I am happy
I apologize to everyone I had taken my cancer medication and it played hallucinations on me I did not realize what I had said…I went back and listened to the show and I was amazed what I said…The cancer medication does that to me sometimes..I had no idea what I said until I went back and listen at the show and I was stunned I am so sorry for the confusion I caused.I did not need a computer and I know how to send E-Mail
This is the first time that youtube has thrown up one of your streams, that was a great introduction to a new device as it provided far more detail than the normal 20mins of gaming benchmarks. The only thing missing was that during the stress test you had the screen show power draw of the cores, rather than the speed of the cores so it was hard to tell what performance was available under load.

From what I have been reading and then what I saw in the video with his close up on the RAM included, it's one of the fastest, being 5600 Mhz! But I don't think it's a high end brand meant to be overclocked, since they do not offer that right now. I know there is faster RAM out there, but this is one of the fastest right now and with everything else, it's fast enough to do what this PC is meant for, then some. You cannot overclock the RAM right now, but they may add that feature later with a BIOS update. For now, only the wattage for a notch up in performance with the CPU and onboard video can be increased. But if you get an eGPU, most that wattage will go to the CPU, which can be increased to 65 watts.
5600 from Kingston Fury all yu need .. that is max for the 780m on that thing and worth it because ram speed and size is everything with an integrated GPU
Does this have any issues thermal throttling with things like long heavy render loads? Also can is dual boot from separate m.2 drives (like Win 10 on one, Win 11 on the other?)
I bought this computer on Amazon and have had nothing but problems. I replaced an eight year old fast WIn 10 PC that was running out of space, but ran silent and great for music production. Soon as the usb went into the audio interface, I got static noise in my monitor speakers. Most computers become more stable after driver updates and restarts. This one is having more and more issues with no support. I will be returning this item as it has wasted hours of my time and is unusable for music production!
I'm looking to get the 7940hs in a laptop(coupled with a mobile RTX4070. Can't believe gaming laptops can now last ten hours on battery! It's incredible.
i have one .. the TUF Asus Gaming 2023 with this hardware incl. gsync - its outstanding, and costs only 1600€ in germany which is (in 2023) cheap - can game and work on it with all needs, no desktop needed anymore (if yu game only on FHD of course)

Zotac are also 30% more expensive
