Jerusha, I am so sorry to hear about the flooding in your country and particularly how much damage it has caused your home. Oh my goodness, first the fires and now you have to deal with this. Your upbeat and accepting attitude is very inspiring. I love your new handbags! Particularly the first one. You’re right: the black leather makes it gorgeous. Just an FYI about storing your speedy 25 folded: my mother had a speedy 30 that she bought in the 70s and 15 years ago noticed that the canvas had split. She knew she was very careful with it and that she didn’t cause it, so we were both baffled. I was with her when she took it into our local Louis Vuitton, and they explained that because the bag would fall in on itself when she would set it down-she did not stuff it to the brim-it just eventually split in the one place where it always naturally bent/folded. They advised her to always always stuff her canvas LV bags and not let them fold/bend over. Ever since then, I have always requested that any canvas bag I buy from Louis Vuitton be stuffed and placed in a box that can hold it stuffed. I don’t want any bag sent to me folded. I have had my own speedy 30 since 1994 and the canvas is pristine, as I always keep it stuffed when I’m not using it and when I am using it I make sure the canvas doesn’t fold/bend when I set it down to store it overnight. OMG! Clean, dark patina is my absolute favorite part of monogram bags. You have to carefully tan it as soon as you get it and then after that it is worry free!
The Pallas looks great! I bet it will be a great on the go bag. If the puckering of canvas doesn’t go away, I would try to exchange, that’s a shame they didn’t pack it carefully.

Yesssss girl the Palm Springs pm reverse is my favorite bag of all , I love my mini but the pm reverse is just perfect especially with kiddies to hold extra things ! I love a backpack so handy ! The straps get even softer over time , my old version has been great thank goodness so far ! Pallas is adorable too !
I used to own the palmsprings pm too but really hated the way the straps looked on me like i was strapped in for a rollercoaster ride😂. I just purchased the longchamp neo backpack in small and it's been working for me. Its the same size as the pm but the straps are slim. I still miss the palmsprings at times when i see it 😀
Does the coated canvas/leather get 'broken or extra worn' where it is folded/creased on the ends? I really love the gusseted ends but wonder about the wear over time. I appreciate the feedback!

I used to avoid vachetta but now i love my speedy b bec its starting to get a honey golden patina with pinky undertones. I find it so beautiful. But for travel I am looking for a handy bag, i am thinking of the new soufflot (?) mm or maybe this one!
I love my Pallas BB! She was such a comfy, functional & secure handbag as I travelled Europe in May 2019. Sadly, she took the most beating in Europe than she has ever had here in the U.S. with all the planes, trains & bus rides, but she held up beautifully throughout my travels and still looks amazing! BTW, I use one of the side pockets for my iPhone, it’s a quick & easy access.

Perfect bags, I own the pallas bb in black too and love it very much, I never met someone wearing this bag and I live in a big city. I have the Palm Springs in PM (not reverse) too and love it but I have a newborn and and a 8 year old and most of the time it’s too small and in the store I tried the pm and the mm and thought the pm looks cooler, anyway my baby will grow and I will wear it more often in the future 😉😊

Hi Jerusha, What if you sent your speedy out to get the leather replaced? I did that with mine and it came back looking amazing. Mine is from 1996. It's stunning. Backpacks were all the rage during the 90s when my kids were small. They are perfect for moms.

Love the Pallas The two magnetic outside pockets are so functional the whole bag is incredibly functional and I am 178cm so that strap works but the price point is wicked. Not a backpack girl so I won’t comment the Karl Lagerfield briefcase nice don’t know what the price point is I don’t really use something like that anyways but it looks really good. Again good strap drop shoulder strap outside pocket that’s what I look for

I own the exact Pallas BB 😊I love everything about it except for the strap which is too long for my frame when I wear it on my shoulder and crossbody. If only the strap is adjustable ... it would have been the perfect mini crossbody bag for me. I mostly used it hand held.
I have the Pallas BB but in the old version that was released in 2016. It has vachetta handles. It holds similar to my Pochette Métis and I like using my PM strap with it because it’s adjustable

I love love love the Palm Springs line! I had the mini since 2015, after 6 months I begin to eying up the pm, because it’s size, my sa keeping on putting me off saying it’s too similar to the mini, so I bought others.... then it suddenly started to sold out everywhere, so hard to get, I aware on and off it took me nearly 3 years to be able to get it. Even harder then my birkin! Now it’s been 6 months since I got the pm, I my heart tells me I should get the mm too! Lol as I have 2 girls, aged 9,&7, I had a vision of us three wearing the same out fit and each having one Palm Springs. My dream! But wouldn’t that be so cute? Btw I must say although the zipper is difficult to pull, but I don’t like the new look somehow, mayb it will grow on me.... can you please tell me is the mm size also the new style zipper now? If so I will have a hard think about getting it now....

Flooding is the worst. My home is 200 years old so I keep dehumidifiers running in 4 places of the house 24 /7. So sorry you are going through this.
