Wonderful performance. My only issue is the change in lyric from "let's show them Canada still cares". Omitting the country's name seems to honestly dull the message and show a bit of disrespect to all the Canadian talent involved in not only this, but the original. Leave the lyric alone. Other than that, great rendition. Just discovered this today. Peace.

Great rendition. Still better than the American's ''We Are The World.''

I’m American and I agree! “We are the World” is a great production, they assembled an vast array of superstars, and the song had a lot of potential, but it was thrown together and had a lot of rough edges.
“Tears are Not Enough” is a better song. Everything David Foster touched turned to gold back in those days!

English lyrics written by Bryan Adams, Jim Vallance, Paul Hyde, Bob Rock. French lyrics by Rachel Paiemont. Music by David Foster. As in the original version, he is on piano 🎹 while Corey Hart and Dan Hill sang their parts.
Many new singers in this version. Bryan Adams was backstage.
    Good 👍

2:11 - That's Neil Donell! He sang the male rendition of "Shining Time" in Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

Great live performance of an 80s classic however with the exception of Corey Hart, Dan Hill and David Foster I have absolutely *no clue whatsoever* who any of these other singers are, and I'm Canadian! I guess it's because I live in a border city and over 90% of the radio and tv stations are from our American sister city which means (unfortunately) we're far more inundated with American content on a daily basis than most Canadians. 😔

Original performance, 1985 is the best!!! This song should not have been allowed to be re-recorded by the next generation of Canadians due to the fact, it is not sung well the performances are terrible, and so are the singers!!! Absolutely version!!!

Not nearly as powerful as original. Too stylized .
