In a true "once in a lifetime" moment at Harvest Jazz & Blues festival in Fredericton, NB, in 2022, we got to see Adam, Terra, as well as Matt Mays and his band, all sing "Lost Together" on stage with Blue Rodeo. It was incredible. Magic stuff!

👏 This is a lovely 💕 duet and ballad with Sarah and a group I’ve never heard of before now - their voices complemented each other’s very well imo! I was surprised to hear Sarah sing in a ‘country’ like style - which shows what a versatile 🌟 talented artist she is. 🤔 IDK why but apparently I’m one of the few Americans 🇺🇸 who have been watching various videos from this Canadian songwriter’s show AND of anyone who has commented on its month old post (based on the others and # views I’ve seen).

🤔 I’ve never heard of Lights before now, but don’t think THIS song was a good, or easy choice for her to attempt even though she did her best. I’m NOT implying she isn’t talented and believe she is, but SARAH ‘owns’ the original which has been around for years and is known by many people. For this reason my assumption is a lot who listen to Lights cover it are automatically, intentionally or not, going to ‘compare’ the two. I honestly don’t think anyone could do it the justice it deserves other than 🌟 Sarah herself, and imho it’s NOT fair to fault or degrade someone else bc their interpretation doesn’t come across as being equally well done!

💕 I’ve always loved this song and Sarah has NEVER failed to impress me with her angelic voice AND class, esp when compared with many of her contemporaries in today’s music. Nelly was very good too but imho seems to have a 👍 voice more suited as a ‘country’ style singer. However they still pulled it off with this beautiful duet. 👏 Had my late mother wanted a public wake and funeral I would have had this song by Sarah played - maybe now I’ll use it for mine. FYI: Susan Boyle did a great 🌟 cover of ‘Angel’ (and IIRC won one of the UK’s ‘Blind Talent’ competitions) that also made me tear up.
