I think exactly the same. Once I win the lottery I can start building. I have the blueprints, down to the smallest detail. Also an idea how to connect the different sets.
I agree but I have better version of your ideas. Lets open bank account where the Shining fans (and there are millions of us) could donate money and collect several millions and build it Somebody could make transparent website with 1. every single donor info, and how much money is collected at the moment 2. precise information on purchase and building and how every single dollar is spent. Every person who donates at least 1 dollar would get 1 free tour once the real Overlook hotel is built.
Nice! I don't use the 3d glasses, but it's very cool to move my phone and the film views moves to that direction. You can also pan the screen with your finger. Very nice!
Question - when people say the Gold Room could not fit inside the hotel we see in early part of the film, do you agree? The only thing I wonder about is why there are no windows?
Answer - The Goldroom set measures 43.78 x 24.68 meters and is 9.20 meters high (without the Red Bathroom). The Timberline Lodge is approximately 126 meters long, but is a narrow building with several kinks. The building is nowhere wider than 12 meters, so the Goldroom set would not fit anywhere. The window problem is simple; Not only the Goldroom set was built on Stage 5, but also the Boulder set. Given the dimensions of Stage 5, there will have been no room left for lighting to illuminate windows from the outside, such as with the Lobby set or the Colorado Lounge set.
Thank you.Interesting.Great work!
Thank you too, ibas3543!
I love these!! Thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks, Dan!
This is incredible! Thank you so much!!! 😊😊❤
I am glad you like it, Dayna!
This is Gold! No pun intended!
It's one of my most favorite sets.
I wish this was a real hotel, like if i ever win a big lottery i am gonna construct a hotel resort that look exactly like the overlook

Thanks Tankdardoftales,
if you are behind a monitor, don't forget to set the resolution to 4K.
@@deltabuilder thanks I'll try that.
@@deltabuilder Wow, that made all the difference.
Hi Lloyd!

Hi Joao,
What will it be?
It's interesting how your renders viewed in VR have changed how I watch the movie. The Overlook is more familiar. The Overlook scenes have more depth.
Over the years I now know the Overlook Hotel inside and out. It is a wish to link all panoramic views.

@@deltabuilder Okay, thank you. Forty foot wide building vs. over eighty foot wide ballroom - hahaha, I was so wrong.
