Pandas are virtually useless and cost way to much save because of their extremely slow reproduction time, the money going towards the panda should go towards saving more important animals such as certain slugs and salamanders that help keep jungles alive.

It's important to note that even though humans are partially to blame for the Giant Panda's decline, the animals aren't exactly helping themselves either since they only reproduce ONCE a year. Yes once a year a panda will mate and if lucky they will reproduce, there numbers have been decline, slowly but surely, for as long as we can remember.

Actually, wild populations have gone up in the last few years. And with the success the Smithsonian, San Deigo and others in the US and China. There is hope for Giant Pandas.

Another is the southern resident killer whale. A unique species of orca that reside in the waters from California to southern Alaska, but mainly stick around in the Salish Sea of Washington and the BC waters in Canada.
There are currently only 75 orca left. And 2 more are critically malnourished and on the brink of death.
