actually season 6 at yhe end wasnt that bad. jt was for me just mount weather and city of light 2.0. it had reasonable story. main thing was it was simple. drama about clarke and josephine and others fighting for clarke was pretty good. also seeing bellamy and octavia come to peace was good but......
s7 was another lvl and it failed in every aspect. everything was bad. only episode i really was excited was etherea when we were about to see bellamy really like the 1st time after 11 or 12 episodes i think but even that episode wasnt that good. it started good but as he was slowlly turning into all of that bs i had enough

ah yes the beautiful ending where humanity is being tested and as they proceed to do everything they usually do which is kill each other a character so happens to run on the field and warn them that they are being tested and OFC out of a selfish self preservation they stop and the "angels" change their mind after saying no and let them come anyways. 2 words. ("Hawthorne effect")

I'm late as fuck but they didn't even cancel the show imao. The EP decided to end it and said " we are ending the show on our own terms". It even worse that this what the writers thought this was a good ending

Tbh Jason Rothenburg clearly just wanted to work on his little prequel and didn’t feel like finishing the first series before working on the next series.

Just finished binge watching the series on Netflix and really liked it and agreed with a lot of what you said. I think the reason Matty didn’t come back was she was so young. Clarke told her to let go and not worry about her and they promised she’d never grow old or have to experience death or pain so it made sense. I would’ve liked to see Bellamy return but I’m assuming the reason they didn’t have him come back was that he’d been dead long enough to cross over to heaven/hell (or whatever is next after death) and since those who transcend and stay don’t experience death it wouldn’t make sense. Even though alot didn’t make sense, but y’all know what I mean 😆

I couldn't agree more. Me and my wife just finished watching the whole series and I hated it from the very start to the very end... Also, Clark is possibly the worst character I've ever seen in anything. Mentally I checked out by the middle of season 3 and just kept on watching it because it's something that me and my wife could hate together. Great bonding lol

OMG that’s exactly what I said. The show should’ve ended at the end of season 5. It gave our characters a new chance at hope at it would’ve been better for the show runner to leave it open to interpretation. We didn’t need a continuation

The series finale just came to finnish netflix and i was so disappointed they killed so many people in that finale for NO REASON and it ended badly. Even with this ending i was hoping that everyone stays human noneone gets to ''evolve'' or what ever it was. To see finaly they are getting peace with them and they would get their own planets or something like that. With the original crew they started the finale. Not worth 3 years of my life to see THAT ending. But i honestly enjoyed to the series to the last few episode. 4.5/10

Just finished the series and let me just say it was hard to put up with Octavia’s list for power and Clark always thinking she could decide what was right and wrong .. I lot of people say the end doesn’t make sense but idk it kinda does in a way I just can tell it was rushed I really would’ve liked a deeper dive into who the consciousness was or what it was and the others that transcended before

Great series horrible ending. I think I would have liked a crazy twist of some kind, they were dealing with planets with slower time and black holes. I would have preferred something like a planet where time goes backwards and they attempt to stop the first war only in tern being the reason it started. Would create a crazy time paradox.

Clarke guns down Bellamy but doesn't even secure the book of drawings??? SHE KILLS BELLAMY FOR NOTHING?? Then it turns out Bellamy was actually kind of right! There is some crazy transcendence shit going on, that is confirmed to be a good place because almost no one has opted out.(Also if your going to have everyones souls become ethereal eternal beings then bring back everyone who died, would have brought meaning to "may we meet again".) After all the "lets do better" Clarke ends up failing the test because she turns into an irrational psychopath by the end of season 7. What type of character arc is that? She was the one who supposedly learned that death leads to more death and the show ends with her going on a murdering spree. I get her failing the test for her past, but ending the show having her go full Sheidheda mode makes no sense. Minus Bellamy because now he's just an after thought I guess. On par with how bad Game of Thrones ended.
Btw I liked the fuck out of this video

I still don't even know what happened to this show. Bellamy literally died zero reason, I've read the shows writer could have had a season eight but decided to end it. The last season was so bad for so many reasons I can't even put it into words... Kinda heartbreaking

So..... BELLAMY WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!! He tried so hard to convince them, he really did. I give him that. And I wanted Clarke to admit that he was right before the movie ended... but nope. I hated Clarke for killing him! AND NOT EVEN TAKING THE BOOK!!? She always thinks she's making the right decisions for everyone. She needs to learn that other people's lives and decisions matter too. Madi is important to her, we get it, but probably not worth killing so many people. Stop playing GOD!!! Just... stop it! Glad this movie ended. I could have done without the final 2 seasons. Miss Monty.

Yeah, I get the fact that they try to do the whole everyone has to be strong to survive so it makes sense for the women to be strong, especially those with decades of training like Lexa. But unfortunately males on average do posses a naturally stronger physic and more fight instincts. The show doesn't really show that and generally has a lot less strong male fighters. Only a few male leaders who are generally overruled by their female counterparts, and an even smaller amount of male fighters in the reoccurring cast. There is also the fact that most of the smart (academic not logical ig) characters were female, e.g. raven and Abby. Then there was also Jax and St.Claire who were always pushed aside for the two other females. There needed to be more of a balance.

@@IDk-zi6ew That would be a problem if those same "strong women" weren't dropping like flies despite being "stronger than their male counterparts"

    • @IDk-zi6ew

@@altheajames7560 A lot of the male characters were dying too. One of the things I liked about the show is they did kill off characters even if some survived things they shouldn't have. Look I am all for a strong female character, but the 100 puts down the males a lot to make the females seem strong instead having each shine in their own way.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give season 1 very close to a 10. Season 2 was probably an 8.5. Season 3...I knew 30 seconds into the first episode that things had taken a drastic change for the worse. I kept watching almost that whole season, but jeez...
It kept going for 7 seasons?!?! Oh well I guess some people will keep watching anything.

i really believe they could wait/delay season 7 and think about what they are going to do in season 7. also Bob Morley had his health issues. without him season 7 at least 1st half felt as there is something missing. They tried to give more time to any other characters but no fence when u are going to last season give fans what they deserve and dont go in it without certain main characters. I really dont even want to go to the main story of season 7. i think it was the dumbest story they could think of for season 7. by that time this show was something else, it lost its identity for me, it was like completelly different show. whole 6 seasons the main concentration was surviving on planet/s and suddenlly we are speaking about transcending and becoming the light...hahahhah. it felt to me like they didnt really know how they want to end this show or story for season 7 and they rushed it. there was so much going on throughout season for 16 episodes just like u said...just a mess. Characters making stupid choices like mainly Clarke killing bellamy without thinking straight into heart, indra wasnt able to kill sheidheda over and over again...
    MAY WE NOT MEET AGAIN!!!

And honestly, I got the same vibe from Game of Thrones and I was right; a pointless death-fest made to glorify nihilism and make people think that humanity is worse than it really is.

Old video but I personally didn't like Sanctum or Bardo that much, I only liked the Becca scene in those episodes. The ending of the 100 however, is really good and sums up the series. It sounds like it completely went over your head, but they are on a beach/shore, summing up the famous phrase: "In peace - may you leave this shore. In love - may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels until our final journey to the ground. We will meet again". When I saw this last scene I completely nerded it out and thought "that was so cleverly done". But the Bardo stuff sucked.

I liked this show a lot, up until the last season. Season 7 was absolutely wild stupid. The ascension stuff in the season dealing with a "higher lifeform" judging humanity and allowing them to ascend was BEYOND dumb. What I definitely enjoyed the most in the entire show was seeing the change in Murphy. Watching him go from being a cockroach to a genuine hero was awesome.
At the end of the show, we know that they cannot reproduce anymore, so humanity is still technically extinct... it all just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
