1:45 okay so it has been 6 years since this has come out, and I still have no clue how he made this sound. I'm guessing the fact that it sounds like "Eyes.. Eyes.. Glowing Eyes" is intentional and I cannot comprehend how he got a growl to communicate certain vowels so clearly, let alone in 2013.
Probably used a voice and disoriented it. Like playing around with a voice mixer and throwing in stuff
You can easily use some voice sample and send it into an fx device (ie ableton vocoder) and then use a growl in order to modulate with the enveloppe of the sample. Simple routing stuff. I mean its one option, but not the only one.

Oh man. This literally makes me want to go on my game, and take that #1 spot on the leaderboards. People said I never could amount to shit, or accomplish much, but guess what it’s because of music like this that actually helped me get through some serious tough times. I mean it's not genius, it's just another electro song that I like, nothing more.
