I bought a preowned 2022 Jet Black SS 1LE with 3100 miles yesterday. Couldn’t be happier with it. Absolutely love it.
Purchased a 2021 SS 1LE last Fall after spending the entire summer researching and comparing RWD sports cars. I didn't realize at the time that Dodge and Chevrolet were getting rid of their affordable v8's although I had heard the rumors. I traded in my FWD Veloster N, which was also a fun vehicle for my 6spd manual with 3400 miles. I got a smoking good deal but had to drive 800 miles to Missouri to get my car. It only makes my car that much more special. Talking about Tires, I replaced my eagles with Continental DW6, and they are much better for the road. I do plan on tracking it eventually, but I'm probably going to get better wheels and tires for that scenario when it happens. The Camaro SS 1LE, is by far the best American sports car for the price, and although there's faster ones available, they are going to cost you a hell of a lot more than my car did. The first time I drove it, I couldn't believe the torque and the absolute power and grip it delivered.
I am very much enjoying my SS 1LE. I went from a Fiesta ST to a Challenger and it was definitely lacking in the handling department. I feel this car is best of both worlds.

Did you pull the plastic shroud off your drivers side valve cover and see who made your engine at Bowling Green Plant yet... I will keep my 2021 SS 1LE for the long run, especially knowing 6 speeds are going away slowly, but surely. I have just about 3000 miles on her and love driving it...
damn bro i have a 2022 rapid blue SS 1LE and i have just over 13k miles on it haha. All the canyon runs lol
@@uberstriker4332 I telework for my job, so no daily miles. I put most miles on my 2020 Trail Boss. It too has a 6.2... Hoping to keep the Camaro for the long haul..
By "made"? you mean assembly with power tools having preset torque values or? Never heard such a thing about LT1

So if you have 80k to spend, do you buy a C8 2lt with z51, or a 2SS 1le, and pocket 30k
Depends what you are mainly wanting the car for.
Thats what I'm debating right now. Its not so much the money but the C8 has some advanatages also. Manual vs Auto, but the C8 IMHO looks better and faster 0-60MPH.
@@HighHorsepower220 what it came down to for me was the back seat, I have kids, so being able to drive it more often is a plus.

Don’t buy one. Had mine for 2 weeks and the transmission went. It’s been at the shop for almost 2 months due to parts on back order. Three gears in the transmission were missing teeth due to a manufacturer defect.
You got at lemon it happens in production, no way around that regardless of what car you buy....
@@invalidusername_5101 your right., but it leaves a real bad taste in my mouth. I did so much research into these cars, waited for a long time to get the car and that happens. Gm didn’t do anything until I reported them and they are still dragging their feet. Waste of money that I won’t get back.
@@LennyLescarbeau-eh8fv I agree 💯 on gm not taking care of the issue. They know they make lemons sometimes so why no take care of the people who keep your business going , as long as it within reason like your situation.
