Hello, the Companion 5 contains a green, red and yellow LED light. The green light indicates normal operation, and the yellow & red lights indicate alarm conditions. When in use, your machine should have a light on. Take care.

What happen when the O2 light is coming off and on?

Hello, a RED flashing light indicates "Product Flow Rate Too High or Too Low". 1. Ensure that the cannula is not kinked or blocked. If used with a humidifier bottle, ensure that it is filled properly and not creating a blockage.
      2. Ensure that the Companion 5 has proper ventilation. It needs to be at least 12 inches (30 cm) from any surface to ensure the vents are not blocked.
      3. If the problem persists, switch to an alternate source of oxygen and contact healthcare provider for assistance.
A YELLOW flashing light indicates "Companion 5 has Detected Low Oxygen Levels". 1. Ensure the air intake filter and exhaust locations are not clogged or restricted. 2. Ensure the Compan- ion 5 is in a well-ventilated area. Make sure there are at least 12 inches between the back and sides of the Companion and any obstructions (furniture, curtain, etc.).
      3. If the condition persists, switch to an alternate source of oxygen and contact your healthcare provider immediately.

@@DirectHomeMedicalI just got this delivered to me and the technician who delivered it said that the orange light for O2 is normal to stay on. I’m currently running the machine with green light on I/O and orange light on O2. Did I receive a defective unit? I was told this was a refurbished device when I noticed it’s not brand new.

You said it will eventually turn green. Is it normal for
it to stay yellow for about 5 minutes then turn green?
That's what my unit is doing.

Hello, When the Companion 5 is powered on properly, the green power indicator on the LED Display will light up. All LED lights will illuminate upon start- up. After the concentrator completes the warm-up cycle, only the green light will remain on. Take care.

Hello, this is a stationary concentrator. If you are looking for a concentrator to bring in the car, we suggest you look for a portable concentrator. Take care.

Hello, a Yellow light indicates low oxygen concentration. There are a few things you can try. 1. Ensure the air intake filter and exhaust locations are not clogged or restricted. 2. Ensure the Companion 5 is in a well-ventilated area. Make sure there are at least 12 inches between the back and sides of the Companion and any obstructions (furniture, curtain, etc.).
      3. If the condition persists, switch to an alternate source of oxygen and contact your healthcare provider immediately. Take care.
