been listening to this for more than a year, and realize that i never commented on just how wonderful this (LYV 2 and so many other tracks are on here) soooo goooooood! hope to see you and your greenscreened hands on here again soon!
Amazing work, ylva! 💚 Your jam on the global delay settings in the end of Cumb is absolutely fantastic, you're right on point with the time changes and it sounds so mesmerizing. Really inspiring to see how you use the Digitone, thanks for sharing this.
Another winner from you with the magic hands. So refreshing to see compared to enless videos of people flexing how many synths they have and barely making anything close to this with 5-6x the instruments used.
I'm losing track how many times I've listened to this masterpiece, but I'm gonna claim around 127 of these plays so far. Please outdo me so the "algorithm" pops off.
Man, these tracks sound require nothing else. Truly everything you need is in the box. And it all sounds so point too. I've listened to many many synths but Digitone has a unique place in my heart, just deeply relaxing to the ears.
Wow man, I'm amazed by your musical skills and use of the Digitone. Been thinking about buying it for some time, now I think you made it time! :) Thanks for your amazing performance!
Incredibly inspiring compositions on top of the digitone and sound design mastery. A pleasure to listen to and watch! i guess you're not at the beach all day living in the Bahamas!
Absolutely phenomenal. Performance, music and ability to create such rich progressions with just one device. Love it 🤍 Also these drums are epic. You probably spent hours (or days) on parameter locking this. Fineliner 🔥
@@ylvatrax Unfortunately having issues with the project. Seems like a bunch of the drum sounds are missing and it's just playing sine notes instead. I think exporting a project doesn't include step locked sounds. Quick look at the sound pool and there's nothing loaded. Bummer but still a lot to look at in here! I'm going to treat it as my homework to recreate your drums ;)
hmm thats weird, but there must be a way to fix this, i read somewhere that it can be related to windows machines, is that the case? also, are you on the latest OS (1.30)? this could be the culprit if not
@@ylvatrax Thanks. I am on the latest OS and I tried uploading on both Windows/Mac, but had the same issue. All other tracks are fine but drum tracks with trig locked sounds are blank patches. I'll dig in more on my end because it sounds like a Digitone bug.
I was thinking about getting another Digitone since the Virus isn't much fun to program, my beloved Model:Cycles and the Rytm I just got are too limited for chromatics, and I started making a couple songs on the Digitone a few years ago and remember really enjoying it. You've inspired me to try learning from your workflow. There is something about the Digitone and Digitakt that is so conducive to writing tracks, even before they added Song mode... Model:Cycles too... maybe the kit-per-pattern, or the relative simplicity, or both...
At this point I don’t know who controls who, whether you control the digitone or vice versa. Maybe you are the Digitone! Anyway, your music is so unique man, I really love it ❤ 😌
thank you very much. i dont think ill be good in making tutorials, but there are great tutors out there. you can download the complete digitone sysex file of this set in my bandcamp if this helps
@@ylvatrax thank will download and check it. Thank you for your work and possibility to get a glimpse on your project file. Stay safe and have a nice week! Bye
Your skill and knowledge on the digitone is just beautiful to watch and listen to! You’re truly squeezing a lot out of this wonderful device. I have a question: i see you use a lot of arpeggiators. Do you also use the offset function? And if so, how do you deal with it not quantizing to a set scale? Another one: do you plan on (or already did) releasing a preset pack with sounds you’ve created? Your sounds are very alive and organic! I like that :)
hello and thank you for the kind words, if i use the arps(which does not happen very often) i usually just offset it manually and check if it works, i never released presets but the whole project file of this particular set including all the sounds is included with the release on bandcamp
This is probably the best Digitone performance in the galaxy.
and now we have opal fors
I fully agree 😃🙏🏻✨🕊🌈✌🏻🍀👍🏻🔥💪🏻

I love this. Real mastery of the DN, but all to an exceptionally musical end.
thank you very much, this is a very nice thing to hear
As a producer I feel humbled. This is what electronic music is all about

True, but this thing is also quite versatile, unlike most of the instruments people flexing with their synths have

You are the reason I'm buying a Digitone. Outstanding performance!
Simply one of the best set ever
This is very good. The u-tube algo pushers snuck it into my feed so you're doing something right. Elektron boxes are magic in the hands of wizards.
Commenting again because this is just sublime! I will listen to this set again for sure
