Always in the Now I see that a few videos have been deleted. I'm trying to download the rest that are here. Is there any other way I can get all the missing collections? I feel so healed when I listen to these tapes. Also, love the meaningful songs and poetry played towards the end.
i won't delete anything from here :) youtube deleted the 'thousand names for joy' (5 cds that you can buy from thework.com) because of copyright claims and a couple of old recording ones because of their sexual content, unfortunatelly, there's nothing i can do about it :( but the rest should be fine :)
(How Dramatic Does My Husband Have To Get For Me To Get It?!?!) Those words from Katie were exactly what I needed to hear today! 45:20-49:05, " *Woman doing the work on her husband. Woman-The minute he comes in the door the whole aggravation starts all over again. It's almost like 'I have the problem but I can't change it so you better leave.' Katie-You know it doesn't work that way. Then another steps in if it's not him. You are your problem. It has to end with you.* " Thank you Always In The Now.!
This is so wonderful and answers so many questions about relationships. Thank you, Byron Katie, for all you do, and for the Work!!!! And thank you, Always in the Now, for uploading
....yes when we look at what we wanted when we are not happy with something ......what we hide from ourselves ......wonderful ....Thanks for all the uploading...thanks BK ...💖
37:31 Describe the Man that you want [this will come from her Animus, very deep, very personal, very eye opening for her and for anyone listening. She describes some qualities that, make a man the man for her]. 38:23 "This Work is not for sissies." 39:05 Katie deeply shows the danger, the death and entombment actually of creating a future, where that created future (vision, wish, desire, etc) is not worked on by you in the here and now. Isn't cared for, loved and taken responsibility for by you right here and right now. Katie shows the death, the weakness of having a fantasy future for oneself that you leave up to others; you can't leave it up to anyone else. Your future is your own personal pearl. 52:39 SYMBOL (combine it with Jung and your personal shit that you're living everyday, the experience of you, the person that you are being everyday, the reactions responses to your interactions everyday and over time) 1:00:14 Until you love it, it will show up as an enemy. (love it=meeting it with courage and understanding and maturity)
This has been incredible - and I’m only 10 minutes in. This situation is precisely my life currently. This woman is exactly the guidance I have needed my whole life. Laced with some incredible humour. Ahhh. What a piece to align with. 🤍
“Men use me as a sex object” “They win my trust and then they betray me” “I want them to see me as a human” 21:00 "I am angry at God coz my family seems to be cursed and can't have relationships" "Other families are happier and more functional than yours?" 25:30 “I want an intimate relationship” WWYBWTT? I’d enjoy myself more. And isn’t that what you want from an intimate relationship anyway? 28:04 How can I have an intimate relationship with a man if I don’t have one with myself? I’m gonna attack him with the same belief system I attack myself. There’s no choice. “You don’t “attract” people with those qualities into your life. You don’t have that power. We are not running the show. You attach your stories to whomever comes into your life”
*Could someone help me to understand* about whether we do or do not cause our illnesses? Around 56:44 - 1:01:00 Katie says we don't cause our diseases and she doesn't know where that idea came from. *Then* she says that *YOU* attach to a story in the moment that causes the stress (which can lead to illness) . I think she is saying two different things that are conflicting and confusing. Any thoughts are welcomed with an open mind.
@mixmeta9066 I love your take on this issue. Your response didn't occur to me. But, "I caused my own illness" is still a confusion issue for me. I need to listen to this video again. A person gets stressed because they believe a thought. If they don't know The Work to question the belief then is it Fate for them to get sick? Some thoughts/ideas are too hard to put in writing. But, I'm thrilled that you read my comment and responded with an insightful answer! EDIT - Adding today's date: 11/18/23
