On sweater material or items like the shawl you can use bias tape to seal in the raw edges. Then you can just do a zig zag stitch to connect the sides together if need be.

You could cut the shaw all the way down, see each side up then add some over sized buttons and button holes......😉

Oh no clothes were rid off. Toys blind bags for grandson and shine box called M for granddaughter to put bracket/jewelry’s and earrings. It’s pretty box for girl or adult. 👍😊😘🤟🏾🙌🏽📱🐾🐶
On that short sweater, you could always put a short zipper in where it was cut. No one would ever know it wasn't supposed to be there.

The sweatshirt, you could make a V-neck in the back. Or fill it with a fabric in the vee.
you could probably throw all the slashed up non-repairable clothes in a box and donate as fabric scraps, have an auction here on youtube and donate the winning bid money to charity. lots of crafty or arty people would be able to find ways to use

You can buy those hooks at Home Depot or Loews for only a couple of dollars. You can buy a single hook & I am sure they will have one to match what you have.

I have to say, if I had been ordered to slash -n-trash perfectly good and used items during my retail sales clerk ing days I would've told them to shove it and quit! This newly adopted practice is giving the consumer a very, " in-your-face"look at exactly what has #1 priority to them......GETTING THEIR HANDS ON YOUR MONEY!!
