My partner wanted a portable cooler bag and a portable speaker for Christmas. I found a $50 cooler bag and a $130 portable speaker. The cooler bag just needs a quick fix gluing down a piece of loose fabric. And the speaker works great. I love saving stuff from the land fill! And it's all thanks to you guys, you inspired me to start diving. Always look forward to watching your videos.

The mirror frame would be great as a frame, you can put Amanda's family on one side and the Texas family on the other side.

Paint the broken mirror white. Then add a plate where the mirror was and place it horizontally on your buffet table. It could also be used to hold a planter or vase. Great catch!
One man's junk is another man's treasure. That saying is definitely true. I'm shocked at the things people throw away. My friends and I will all have a clear out of clothes or kitchenware, etc, bring all to one person's house then we just select what we want from the goods and donate the rest to charity (thrift) shops. Even if clothing is ruined, I'll remove buttons, ribbons, lace and zippers and they come in handy for clothing repairs, crafting or artwork. I'm glad my gran taught me to "make do and mend". She cut up her old blackout curtains from WW2 and made them into aprons with white lace round the bib and pockets. She made a few and used them for her employment of housekeeper for the local doctor. Sorry I went off track of dumpster diving but it just brought those memories back. Happy hunting and good on you for looking out for others needs and donating to thrift shops. I'm sure people would appreciate your efforts.
Truly bothers me that good things are broken up and clothing slashed , bedding etc spray painted! WHAT DOES THIS TEACH OUR YOUNG PEOPLE?!?

i had an antique picture frame from the 1920s or '30s, and it was on a tilt base. had the guys photo in it still. paint that thing gold and sell it as such if you determine it can be taken apart.

After the new year shops will be throwing things away that are still good enough to buy as Christmas is over
It's a trellis for vine plants, or it can be used as decorative fence if there was more of them
Luggage can be donated to foster organizations for children. The kids don't have anything to pack their belonging in but a box or plastic bags.
The iron trellis sells for $11 at Lowes, I bought a couple this year

just a question, didn't you spend basically all summer purging your whole house of all the extra stuff you don't need, the things you have multiples of, the things that don't bring you joy, etc? yet you bring home something like tht broken lipstick holder, when you don't need it and it can't be donated since it's broken. i'm confused as to what the purpose of your purging was for if you;re just repeating the same habits? was it so you could refill the empty spaces with new stuff and then purge again?

Newly minted coins from Canada would have King Charles the third on them as Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. Older coins have her father King George the fifth on them. Quite cool actually! I just found a $2.00 commemorative King George V Canadian 99% silver coin from his coronation!
